Tubby just signed his best recruiting class since 2004 this off-season. He didn't leave UK until 2007. That's all you need to know about why it was suggested either Tubby change his staff or GTFO.
But hey, I'll be anxiously awaiting his piece on how the ACC has embraced a plethora of black head coaches in basketball now that UofL has moved there.

I am not saying he is right but I read a MU post on another board from someone who seems pretty racist and said this:
'Tennessee embraced Pearl and his style, Mizzou loved Norm. Both schools need to get back to those places'
Odd that he did not mention the success of Martin, Anderson and even Haith at the two schools. But says we need to get back to whitey ball.
Not saying its an issue (race) but I am pretty sure with a good amount of fans that abandoned both programs and hated both coaches from the start. It was about racism

We ran CMA back to his home for a 20% raise.

I honestly believe had we not contacted Nutt, y'all have him for the 2008 season.
The only reason he "resigned" IMO is because he knew he had a better offer for more years and more money than Arky offered him (one year extension i believe).
We by no means stole him from y'all but had he not had another offer on his plate I think he would have taken the one year extension y'all offered him. That's just me though.

He is a shock journalist. (I use the word "journalist" loosely) Everything he does is over the top and he wants a reaction. From watching him when he was on ESPN, he came off as a smug, know-it-all/skip bayless type douche......and the bag it came in.

Haith got a 7 year deal at like 1.8 Mil from Tulsa. Missouri would be fools to match that offer to keep a coach who is trending down with off the court issues.
Forde is a moron and so is anyone who actually buys into is narrative.

Obviously the fact that a mediocre coach who is responsible for the regression of our program was fired is completely due to race.

The difference between him and Skip though is that Skip does actual in-depth reporting and is pretty knowledgable in some situations (even though I don't like the guy).

LSU had one black coach leave then hired another black coach, we so racist!!!!!
LSU has had African-American Assistant Coaches galore in football and basketball since the late 70s.
We have only had 2 black HCs in Men's basketball, but that may be because Dale Brown was here from 1972 - 1998 or s.
We have had 2 black HCs in Women's basketball.
We have not had a black HC in football because there were really not any candidates equal to Nick Saban afte Dinardo was fired, nor Miles after Saban left, that applied anyway......
