Thoughts?

I'm absolutely fine with this especially so if the mother to be is on the government tit. One of my employees had a daughter that was on welfare and she had 6 kids and every single one of the kids had serious health issues due to her drug use and every one of the kids was a burden on the system too.

Good business decision. Keep out the riffraff.

I thought they always did a drug test after delivery.

truth, but that's an incendiary talking point in this day and age.

I'm fine with it. People too wrapped up in drugs to use while pregnant shouldnt be raising kids IMO.

I'm pretty sure they do. Just not before like this particular office.
Personally, I'd like to see more of this. And CPS follow through on neglect charges.

I'll say this: I find it a bit hypocritical that we as a society are generally ok with this as a means of protecting the fetus and, later, the child but suggest we should restrict or remove the option to abort and people lose their minds.

Eh, I don't find it much different than being against abortion but for the death penalty. Different circumstances tend to bring different responses.

On some level sure, but here we're still comparing a fetus to a fetus as opposed to a fetus to a convicted murderer.
Im under no illusion that a fetus is fully human or anything, but Ive just never been comfortable with the idea of intentionally depriving a future sentient being of life as a means on convenience. It seems so...archaic, kinda like how I would feel if we still burned people at the stake or cur off the hands of thieves. Just seems like something ad advanced society should shy away from.

If you're going to bring a child into the world you shouldn't use fricking drugs while you're carrying said child. The evidence of disabilities when the mother is a drug abuser has been thoroughly researched.
If you have no desire to have a child and it's aborted you're not setting a child up for a life of disabilities and hardships.

That jsnt really my objection. My objection is that I like being alive and hate to think what if my mother had gotten an abortion.
I tend to think about what the fetus/child could have become. How many future Einsteins, Debakeys, Jordans, etc have we done away with?

What's archaic is men telling adult women what to do with their bodies. We're not living in Medieval Europe. Women aren't property.

To be fair, millions of people would argue that this is better than no life at all.

Those millions live in a bubble and have never seen a crack baby.

with their bodies
If it was their body, it would have the same gender and DNA makeup as their body. It doesn't. So the claim that it's just them doing what they want "with their body" isn't exactly correct.

I have. I didn't shoot them to put them out of their misery.
