Rick Ray has to be one of the worst recruiters in the SEC hes working on his 3rd class and still YET to sign a 4 star kid. SMH

We have a PG committed for next season that will likely get a 4th star. You're truly becoming completely irrational regarding Ray.

State would be better off, by a large margin, if they had retained Stansbury.

UPDATE: UGA still doesn't have a basketball commitment, but we did just give our coach a two year extension.

If only you knew what was going on on the inside of the program you'd disagree.

Plus, Stansbury can't coach his way out of paper bag. He recruited his arse off cause of the "financial" help administered from boosters. Those same boosters refuse to help Ray, they want him to fail. (Ray would coach circles around Stans when it comes to x's and o's).

Funny you say this because after watching the game this weekend, I thought to myself, if I were in Booker's shoes, I would have done the exact same thing. Who wouldn't want to be a part of that. That's the difficulty ANYONE has when recruiting against UK. Obviously would have loved to have gotten him, but realities are realities.

Probably why Kentucky doesn't have the #1 class again. People took advantage of that NIT appearance

McDonald's All american game is tonight. I am pretty surprised that no one outside of Kentucky in the SEC has a commit there. I usually expect LSU, Arky, or Florida to have a couple.

We don't get guys into the game simply because they're committed to us.

Devin Robinson wasn't eligible as a post-grad student. However, Brandone Francis could have made it over Booker or Grayson Allen and Chris Chiozza over Ulis and no one would have second guessed it.

@JucoRecruiting: Cinmeon Bowers (6-7/F/2014) of Chipola College tells me he will take an official visit to Auburn next weekend.

Looks like Bowers is heading to the plains next weekend to eat some pot

LSU's top recruit this year is Josh Gray. He is probably a top 8 pg coming into college basketball but he's in JUCO, so he's a mcdonalds all American level player but obviously can't play in the game. Averaged like 40 a game in juco this year

Our big guy is pretty highly ranked. Elbert Robinson. Surprised he didn't make the game

Former Kansas guard, Anrio Adams, is going to sign with Auburn apparently.

He was going to sign with Barbee. Don't think Pearl is interested.

Wouldn't mind him bringing his partner in crime Torian Graham along for the ride. Looks like Graham is most likely headed to Mizzou but we would gladly take him off their hands if they are turned off by his eating habits.

Aren't all the good JUCO players pretty much signed at this point?

I see Bowers only averaged 12 points, 9 boards last season

Most but not all. Deng Deng, Atwood, Bowers and Graham are the only highly rated ones left that I'm aware of.

What exactly is highly rated for JUCO? Top 10? Top 20?

I'm not sure. It probably varies year to year. I normally just look at their offer list instead of their ranking.

Seems like it's next to impossible to find an accurate ranking list for JUCO players. No offense to Bowers but he's the #1 composite JUCO player on 247 yet averaged 12pts/9rebs??? Kind of hard to believe.

John Odo averaged like 12/14 in JUCO and he's pretty bad.
