MSU having its Pro Day today, and of course it's closed, again, for no logical reason. Ole Miss opened its Pro Day to the media.

No more photos with Mullen in his mom jeans.

Because we've got a failed highschool PE teacher/coach originally from Starkville running our compliance department.
Please don't get us started on that. My blood pressure is already going up just thinking about it.

I just see absolutely zero benefit to closing pro-day

Bracky Brett, what a shitty name...

There is zero benefit. They closed all of our June/July camps for YEARS as well. Makes no sense.
We're still in the Templeton-era compliance wise. That's why we're on probation over a couple hundred dollars cash, a free jacket, and a reasonable discount on a used mustang.

Why won't Bracky retire? He is bound to have 35+ years in from the State

Because frick you, that's why..

Because there is a right way to do things and a wrong way to do things.
The right way makes it too easy.

What the frick does the compliance department have to do with having Pro Day open to the media? If the MSU athletic department relegated that decision to the Compliance Dept., then you have a hell of a lot more to worry about than Brett.

Damn. Mississippi miStake University.

bump to make sure this stays on the first page.
I'm legitimately interested in why MSU is letting their compliance dept. control Pro Day.

In a completely unrelated note Locke is a giant douche.

That is just typical State fan bs. Compliance is not dictating what goes on at a pro-day. The more likely reason is b/c Mullen is a douche. He is afraid someone won't look good at their pro-day and it will make him look bad.

They may be afraid somebody will do 0 reps of 225..
Would be very embarrassing.

Presumably for the same reason that we closed all summer camps for years. I think it's been open to media for only 2 years now. And Gene was pissed because he didn't get a heads up allegedly.
And why we wouldn't allow the Clarion Ledger to run a special on Malik Newman talking to Ray and other coaches around the country. We were the only compliance dept in the country to deny this request -- per a friend that just left CL.
If you aren't used to compliance consistently overstepping their boundaries, you haven't been an MSU fan for long. Oh, wait...

Not one bit of this should be blamed on your compliance department. Evidently MSU fans are the only one's that can't understand that.
Get pissy with me all you want....but it's not my fault nor is it your compliance department.
Best way to put this...It isn't the politician's fault that he or she is making dumbshit laws. The fault is with the people who put them in power.

Sorry to ruin Blamefest 2014. Should probably blame him for the weather as well.
