Why is anyone including the coaching staff surprised with Evan's decision? It was clear as day after the dog and pony show bday party Allen put on that he had no loyalty to AU. Can anyone see Bo or any other AU player taking advantage of his former school the way that he did? By taking advantage I mean throwing a bday party with 200 people and having the entire coaching staff of both schools there for pictures and autographs.

We flipped 2 Bama players that we needed. Both DB and 4 star players. Top RB, WR, LB, DS, OG. We got two out of three guys today. Great day to be an Auburn Tiger. The coaches did a great job

In the auburn players discussion you should add Cory Grant but he is with the good guys now.

Now that it's all over, Allen Evans can go back to being irrelevant like he has been for 30 years now.

It's because of people like you all (and other team fans) that the recruiting process has become the pathetic circus it is now.

The recruiting sites shovel all this bullshite to you on a minute by minute basis with predictions and tweets and all that bullshite, and you gobble it us and beg for more.

Give me the recruits that commit in June and get involved in our school and their future teammates. To hell with all this ceremony and hat bullshite.

It's kind of like a man not really noticing the signs his wife is cheating on him. He wants to believe her when she says I love you, I am with you, and we are family. It is only on the day when she comes to pick up her clothes and shite to jump in the car with the a-hole from Tuscaloosa. You pretty much miss the signs.

I kinda agree, but he did lie to them. I guess you can't take someone on their word anymore.

I checked out this thread for the first time Saturday. I have zero posts in the old recruiting thread. I don't follow recruiting on a daily basis. I don't gobble up recruiting news. However, I don't need a years worth of recruiting news to realize when a former player has taken advantage of the recruiting process by throwing a bday party with 200 guests and our entire staff is there dancing like puppets.

Does anyone want to take a guess as to who the circus will revolve around in the 2015 recruiting class?

Recent history almost guarantees it to happen again.

I must admit I chose Roc last year. He turned out to be very solid and no drama.

It happens because people continue to believe the nonsense that "sources" spew. Auburn/Alabama recruiting battles never end well for us on signing day/near the end of the cycle. If a guy is choosing between us and bama on signing day it is going to be bama, end of story.

Committed and pretty much told Kiffin to kick rocks. That's the kind of guy we need.

It's all good. Evans will play about as many games at Auburn as his old man did.

Yes we had some good recruits like him and even better. Tre, Davis, White, etc. All recruiting hard for their class. Lot of good in this 2014 class.

I don't know, but I wish our coaches would tell these kids and their parents up front that we want you here, but we won't put up with any games in the recruiting process. If we suspect there are any games being played we will stop recruiting you point blank. It seems like a harsh move, but the shenanigans of the past few years lead me to believe we have been caught up trying to play the game and hoping it turns out in our favor.

Payne if he doesn't commit to the turds early. That one has the potential to be the next cluster I would guess.

Maybe we can use Payne to do it to Saban since he supposedly grew up an Auburn fan.
