Wasn't Coach Ball the WR coach at VT? We brought him in and put him in as a RB coach, which struggled under him, atleast I always felt that way, but he is an awesome WR coach. I'm surprised we don't pull more WR's off our QB play alone. Murray showed he was willing to throw to anyone, but if you got hot, he made sure to feed you. I think mason will surprise a lot of people. He can throw that back shoulder just as good as AM. I would love to get the Williams kid, but if he ain't bright enough to come to UGA over UT then he is a bonehead. And we know where our boneheads end up, and it ain't playing between the hedges on a regular basis.

It doesn't sound like he actually has an offer

Since AJ we really haven't landed "the" WR. Yet we show up every Saturday loaded. I like what we have and with the juice we'll get from Eason's committ I look for us to land some studs. I haven't been this stoked about UGA football since we were driving to beat Bama to win the MNC. Pruitt gave us a new start without a rebuild. Bright future ahead boys!

Eason will definitely be the "WR Whisperer," but it mystifies me that UTk can land stud WR after stud WR and haven't had a QB worth killing since Peyton.

.Auburn just pulled in a huge 5 star WR for 2016...consider Gus's offensive scheme in 2013..for me it is surprising..I understand Gus has a history of putting up passing yards.., I assume he is transitioning to a more balanced attack..although, I doubt it is that much more balanced..why change it if it works well..

THey will have more success throwing with a more comfortable QB and a better WR Corp.

Might not sign the biggest named WRs, but they've produced, for the most part.

Good point. While we haven't had an ALL-SEC type WR since AJ Green, the WR's combined have all played well. It's been very deep.

We've always spread the ball around but Murray made it an art form, routinely completing passes to 7-9 recievers a game.

Hutson did well spreading it around too in his two starts. He completed passes to 7 different recievers in both the GT & Neb games. That's a good sign...

Yeah it's not bad at all and I'm glad we have enough talent for it to work.

Yeah...i get that...more experienced qb's with better receivers yield more passing yards.....but that wasn't the target of discussion in the auburn recruit thread.....i welcome them throwing more often..it means they run less on downs.....that offense was at or near peak potential last year ...imho they will not buy more production becoming more balanced because there is not much room for improvement...no one really figured it out as far as i could see.....that is how much I fear that rushing attack...perhaps it was a condition of Gus having the right pieces in place....if he looks to be more balanced this year it's due to a change in skill or key blocking positions....anyway..it has been discussed enough
