In case I'm not the only 1 interested in AU softball, AU is up 2-0 in the 2nd on a 2 run oppo jack by star freshman Kasey Cooper in the softball iron bowl.

I dont really care about softball but I want Auburn to win the NC in every sport we compete in and mercy rule bama every time we play.

Anyone who is town this weekend needs to come to all 3 games this weekend against USC. The team needs some support in a bad way.

Bases loaded for AU softball up 6-1 in the 5th. If we score 3 more the game ends via the 8 run arse whoopin rule.

AU gets a huge win on a number of levels by soundly beating Bama on a neutral field 6-2.
-It stops the 7 game losing streak that were almost all heartbreakers.
-Bama is #1 in the RPI so it was a huge post season resume win
-It was a big game for Soph pitcher Marcy Harper who thew a near gem after being beat up in her last few starts.

Our softball team is good. Those losses were to good teams and all were, like you said, heartbreakers.
Kasey Cooper, true freshman out of Dothan, is going to be special for this club going forward. She's an amazing batter, but she's an even better pitcher, but she hasn't been allowed to pitch this year because Clint Myers doesn't let true freshmen pitch.

Only 3 seniors graduate from this team and none of them really contribute at all. We should be a top 10 team next year and a regional host if not a super regional host if they advance. There are only 3 junior on the team to so we should still be very good in 2016 also.

Tonight's game has been rained out. Game 1 is set for 11 AM and will end likely a little before A Day kick off. Game 2 is set for 4 as originally planned. All times are AU standard time.
