And this is why the Secondary will continue to suck. The defensive coaches consistantly get their asses handed to them on the recruiting trail.

yeah the D needs to step up their recruiting game and their coaching game. Overall our class sucks right now based on Rivals. Lots of 3 star guys while our competition is racking up 4 and 5 stars. And yes it matters, look at Bama kicking everyone's asses.

That is it. Does that look like how a championship team should recruit on Defense. I don't think so.

wait till we get crushed by Bama and then Jovon and others flip. We haven't got a commitment since Moby Dick was a minnow. You think they would be piling up Defensive line recruits.

I love Malzahn, so I hope he makes the necessary changes on his staff this offseason. I don't want him letting EJ and crew to cost him his job. Go out there and get Muschamp and get this shitshow defense turned around.

Can we really blame him? I can't. Ole Miss' defense looks awesome and our defense looks pathetic at best. There's still time to get him back but it seems like he's been looking for a reason to flip.

Ole miss is in the same boat we are... The only difference is we face UGA from the east while they got cupcakes from the east. They'd have 3 losses with or schedule, maybe more. If arkansas beats them, the wheels might come off.

Well, the good thing is that, aside from Darius Slayton, we have a bunch of 3* cornerbacks we'll look to replace him with...and I haven't heard of any of them.

Wonder why we are having a hard time recruiting defense. They need to put alot of emphasis on it. The past 5 of 6 AU defenses have been awful. It sucks. But I'm still wondering what happened to our D from the first half of the year to now. Seems we were pretty good early in the year.

Because the coaches suck arse at recruiting and there is zero depth, except on the D line (which happens to be the best part of the defense). Of course if they could manage to get their sorry asses off the field every now and then, they wouldn't be so worn out by now.
