It's absurd to act like CRG just started recruiting these kids this year, and is "behind"
Just passing on what I was told by a few close to the program. You are free to take or leave it. Can they be lying to me to protect Garner's rep? Sure, but they've never lied to me before so I have no reason to believe they are now.

Either way we sign who we sign and Garner will develop them very well like he always does regardless of ranking.

Yeah the whole sky is falling crowd needs to get a grip. We're number six in the preseason polls and number 7-8 in recruiting nationally. Finding a way to bitch about that takes effort.

As long as he pulls Rochester next year, I will be a happy man. Garner won't let the dline go to shambles. 2016 will be a big year across the dline.

Well if you look at it that way just come back in Feb. No need to click on the recruiting thread.

We like discussing recruiting and we're talking about how things are looking.

No argument here. But to classify this class as locked up or missed is overstating. Nothing wrong with discussion but perspective helps.

I knew once E replied to that person this thread was about to nosedive. It is obvious by his lack of a reply to Rocky's inquiry that person just wants to start ish. I would think E would know better by now!!

He and Davidson are a must.

Marlon Davidson

In reply to Randy. If I had to choose 1 to add with Julian I'd take this guy but I'd gladly take all 3.

I honestly think Garner is waiting to let the season and player performance in an improved defense sell itself.

When players come on OV and see we're dropping 'bows on teams coming into JH, in that atmosphere, we will see some players whose top X we've faded from come back into play. Like someone said earlier in the thread, Auburn isn't for everyone, it's not on the ND/USCw/Texas level yet, and it sometimes takes getting the kids on campus in that environment to get us into serious consideration and flip'em to the good side.

Don't forget we still have a shot with Payne, although yes he is deep in Cristobal's sack at the moment. Tweener DEs will see the light.

I put Davidson because he plays end and it's in-state and supposedly he's real close with Wilson. But yes, after this class (barring a major change) we are going to need all three.

If we miss in this class, we'll be behind. Period! My hopes, as of now, are that we can at least pull Norton. If not, we'll be in a rough position of having to continue to fill with Juco guys until players develop. It's rare that guys come in like Mon Adams the first year and make an impact on the DL. Next year is too far off to start getting concerned about who we pull, considering those guys are just going into their Jr years of highschool, however I very seriously doubt we pull all of Rochester, Jackson, and Davidson.
