Did nobody watch Kerryon Johnson last night? 203 yds and 2 TDs. Looked pretty good behind a putrid OL in a last second loss to Leeds. He had one TD run called back because he completely hurdled a tackler.

I saw it. He looked good. Had cramping issues due to heat and humidity up here last night.

They were showing his catch as one of the top ten plays last night. Pretty cool

Darrell Williams and Hoover are playing on espnu.
He has looked okay, but honestly I don't understand Hoover's use of him. He has een lining up in the slot so far. Hardly ever able to attack the line.
Just picked up a blocked punt though.

Yea he just covers the slot
He'll blitz every now and then though. Pretty big kid.

Yea, his size is great and he seems to move pretty well. Don't know why he isn't playing in the middle.
Like seeing him wear the Auburn arm sleeve. I don't think it is a Hoover one because I don't see anybody else with one on.
Eta: he hasn't looked great shedding blocks. Gets locked up and just runs with his guy.

The highlight of the night for him was the amazing catch he made over a DB. He played RB, WR, wildcat QB, kick/punt returner and safety. Ended up at 22 carries for 203 yds, 2 TDs and that catch for 19 yards. They kicked away from him on returns.
He had some really nice runs, but would kind of give up toward the end. I think he was just getting tired and cramping from playing every play.
He also downed a bunch of......yes, mustard on the sideline. The announcers said that some people think it helps relieve cramps. But he came out of the game one time, ran over and squeezed a bottle of mustard into his mouth and I'm thinking, wtf is this kid doing?
Also, Malik Miller looked pretty good. He's thick for a Jr. Had some nice runs, but not as fast as Johnson. Johnson looked fairly thin, but he'll have plenty of time to put some weight on before he sees the field in college.
The Leeds RB was looked really good. I can't remember his name. They said he's gotten a few Div II offers. I don't know anything about Madison Academy's D, but he was Leeds main guy, especially after Leeds QB got ejected for apparently talking shite.

Aight, overall Darrell Williams did not look great, but neither did most of Hoover's D
Definitely was playing out of position, but he didn't get out of blocks and had bad pursuit angles.
Obviously all coach able things, just making observations.

I don't know if anyone watched Trent Thompson play today, but he wasn't a can't miss type guy. I didn't see any type of domination out of him, not even flashes. Definitely not what one would expect from the #1 overall DL.

Yea, he didn't play great, but he also isn't a nose hard for that type of defense. He was double teamed pretty much every play, and probably 30% of the time at least triple teamed.
He isn't a true nose guard, especially not in a 3-3-5.

I know he was, but we see elite DL every year at camps split double teams against some of the best OL in the country. Just wasn't impressed.

That's what he'll be playing at UGA right?

Ya which is why it is stupid he is going to UGA. He should be a 3 tech DT

3-4 DT is a little different than 3-3-5, but yea I don't think it is the right position for him.

I believe our DL recruiting will take care of itself this year. We aren't going to have 3 - 5* guys, but RG can coach. And that fact will play out over the season. 2016 we need Rochester and Davidson. Marlon has had a growth spurt lately.

Been saying the exact same but I'm going to be greedy now and add Antwaun Jackson into that mix. Go get all three!

I still think we get Daron Payne this year. The fact that Bama hasn' scooped him up already has me thinking that one of those two parties aren't as hot on each other as we think

Elijah Sullivan is playing on Fox sports South. Looked good so far. Has had some really big hits.

bama prob doesn't want him but will take him to keep us from getting him. Same thing with D. Williams.
