Not going to lie, DH27 took a lot of the sting out of this loss

This guy has all the tools to dominate and possibly win a Heisman before he leaves. Watching him run through the OU defense like they were children was promising to say the least.

Yes sir....Oklahoma fans also think he could win a Heisman...they were in awe of him.

Agreed. I wonder if the outcome would have been different if Henry got 15 carries last night instead of 8.

That was such a mind frick...You have a guy averaging 14.3 yards a carry yet you don't try to get him the ball more?

he looks legit based upon stats, but his running style/body type dont seem to fit the mold. will be interesting to see next year if he becomes option 1b

He should be option 1a next year

I liked E. Jackson too last night.

he's got the same burst drake does, and he's as big as lacey ... what mold should he fit? ...

you cant really base that off limited carries though, and the back position entails more than rushing as well. He will get a look at 1a but I still see yeldon as the top back. will be interesting to see where the O goes after McCarron

He is tall, but his center of gravity when he runs seems very good, like a much shorter back. He is faster and a little more elusive than I thought too.
I've heard comparisons to Brandon Jacobs, who I think is taller than Henry. I really don't remember Jacobs before he became the slow brusier for the Giants so I don't know if that comparison is a good one.

I agree, just haven't been very impressed with Yeldon this year tbh. He fumbles entirely too much.

Henry looked legit last night. I know he's a freshman and didn't know all of the pass protections, but he should have been getting the ball more throughout the season

I find myself getting nervous at the end of all of his runs. His fumbles have come at AWFUL times too. Last night's might have been another game changer like 2012 A&M.

One thing I noticed about Henry was that his blitz pickups were much improved from the VA Tech game. He seems to be a more complete back than before.
I think Yeldon should be benched. We need to take a no nonsense approach to turnovers particularly in the beginning of the year. When Yeldon and Drake fumbled during the UK game, I would have sat them for the remainder of the game. Give it to Henry, Tenpenny, Tyren Jones. Show them that they need to take ball security seriously if they want to keep their jobs. Did you see Yeldon smiling on the sideline after he fumbled? Made me want to puke. If he doesn't care enough about ball security, we should play someone who does.

Not a great comparison IMO. Henry has elite top end speed. Elite. This kid ran a laser 4.4 in HS
Two guys he reminds me of in their college days are Eddie George at Ohio State and Stephen Jackson at Oregon State, moreso Jackson.
George had more power than Henry does but he isn't as fast. Jackson could do it all very well. I think that's the kind of back Henry can end up being. He runs behind his pads and can really accelerate in the open field. The power and breakaway speed on that dumpoff pass was amazing. He is a big kid that people don't enjoy tackling. It's human nature. If he can stay healthy then he'll be a force for the next two years. You don't break all-time rushing records by just being an athlete running the ball, he has always been an excellent running back

I don't get the "he doesn't fit the mold" talk. He broke the mold....that kid is special.
