I'll buy a tshirt of the team* whose state is the first to pass some major form of progressive cannabis legislation. The prohibition should end in the South, where this billion dollar industry could thrive.

I've always thought that too, but we actually have the most lax weed laws in the south, so who knows

If you're sitting on massive amounts of farmland and there is the potential for a new huge cash crop, I don't see the point in being stubborn over something like this. The downsides of prohibition are enough to change the laws, but the upsides to a state like Mississippi are huge.

Our state politicians are just as stupid as our populace. One state senator tried to force Ole Miss to change back to col reb as a mascot. He was a state fan. I'm not making that up that's seriously what they debated in the Mississippi senate.

There are plenty of tards in every state legislature.

Also, I haven't gone back and read through this thread, but I am sure some belittling of LSU was probably throughout the thread. I know LSU and Ole Miss are consistently ranked very high on return on investment for their students. LSU has a great business school (top internal auditing program in the country; engineering (especially petroleum engineering); landscape architecture, mass comm; we just built a new billion dollar med school; our law school is respected; and I'm sure our ag school is legit. In fact, a very credible site ranked LSU 34th on mid career salaries, ahead of the likes of Ohio state and UNC. Ill be just fine with my accounting degree from LSU, though I'm going out of state for my masters

We didn't re-legalize alcohol after prohibition until the 1960s. We were the last state to do so.

I'm just amazed at what a difference a year makes. Through 5 pages there was one post saying Mizzou, and it was a troll Kansas fan on an SEC board.
Even an Ole Miss enrollee can figure out what he would be here for.

An Ole Miss enrollee wouldn't end a sentence in a preposition either.

That's an incredibly bold claim given the populace.

We didn't ratify the 13th amendment until this year. Yeah it took 148 years

Depending on their emphasis on engineering, the transformation to this has been quite prevalent the last 10-15 years.
