2 sec titles, 2009 2012

Bama is not first. In fact, the definition of dynasty has clearly been altered if bama is a dynasty.
For example, FSU finished 16 straight seasons in the AP top 5. That's a dynasty.

Herschel's 3 seasons at UGA resulted in 0 SEC losses. The next season we only lost once. If we're talking about dynasties within the SEC, that run has to be up there.

Only 3 losses while Herschel was there were to 1981 Clemson (went on to win the National Title) and in the Sugar Bowl (national title games) to Pitt and Penn State.

2007 LSU did not have the markings of a great team and took advantage of a ridiculous season where upsets were occurring left and right.
'07 lsu was definitely the best team in cfb that year

They also lost to two unranked teams. No bcs champ can equal that level of ineptness.
It's crazy how close we were to a Mizzou-WVU title game in 07. Ugh...

2 titles in 14 years is not a dynasty.

It takes a lot more than a 4 year stretch to create a dynasty
I figure something like 7 out of 10 would be a dynasty
so it's still doable, but not likely

3/4 has always been considered a dynasty.

Wait. 1 SEC west title in 4 years equals a dynasty?
Posted on 12/16/13 at 10:17 am to Dr Lecter
since the SEC went to divisional play AU has more undefeated seasons than any team in the country. says it all, to be the best you gotta beat the best and the SEC has been the best consistently since then!

Wrong. Kentucky was ranked 16 when they beat LSU.

Bama's 'dynasty' consists of 2 conference championships in 6 years.
Let that sink in.

Losing to two unranked doesn't diminish your resume? Wow, I wish you were my boss.
