Really do not think any game in history before or now will reach the intensity level of that day. It was not 1 year in building. It was a decade of buildup.
Agreed, but I think next week will be close. This past weekend, at least to me, felt even more intense than any of the home games in 2010.

Ok. Home field advantage is a myth in college football.

The crowd has nothing to do with this. Bama plays better on the road.
If you dont count neutral site games as road games, we have only lost two(2) road games since 2008, playing in places like Death Valley at night, Beaver Stadium, BHG stadium at night, JHS, Neyland, etc...

Vegas seems to think it will be fairly easy. Spread is 15.5

Alabama has way more pressure. In that sense it isn't close. On the other hand, Auburn isn't devoid of pressure. Losing to Alabama at home would be a huge missed opportunity and Alabama would still be in prime position to win a 3rd straight title. The pressure goes up for BOTH teams if Baylor loses this weekend as Auburn would be one realistic upset away from playing for it all. This is far and away the most important game Auburn has played since 2010 and virtually none of the current Auburn starters played in the bigger games in 2010. Alabama has historically played its best in big road games. On the other hand, Alabama struggled some in the game last year at LSU that will most closely resemble the atmosphere next week. If Alabama doesn't turn the ball over any I think they win by 7 to 10 points. Any turnovers at all and it's a coin toss.

Some are confusing "pressure" with "likelihood of being impacted by pressure."
Bama is certainly under more pressure to win. That said, they, in the eyes of most, have more resources with which to win. That alone provides some pressure, but also the consensus advantage.
I agree re: Baylor.
