Auburn could sneak into the title game if things fell right. They've got every reason to feel pressure

Yeah but Bama has a guaranteed spot if they win out. Auburn doesnt have the same guarantee if they win out.

This thread is idiotic.

Auburn has already exceeded any/everyone's expectations for this season. There is no pressure on them to win this game. Win/Lose every single Auburn fan is proud of their team this year.

Bama is playing for a national championship. Not only will they be the favorites, but all hell will be let loose in the state of Alabama if they lose. Auburn fans will be talking endless shite (warranted) and Bammers will be offing themselves left and right (obvious exaggeration).

That's true. I honestly don't think pressure will have any effect on the game though. The crowd noise on the other hand could play a factor. Jordan Hare is going to be crazy. Bama will need every bit of its big game experience to keep it together in that atmosphere.

No kidding. It was rocking more than usual last week. Can't imagine what it's going to be like for the Iron Bowl.

There is. There is simply no pressure not to lose.

Alabama and it isn't close. We lose, suddenly the Dynasty comes to an end, in my opinion. And the team that brought it to an end? None other than arch rival Auburn.

I hear you but I think people may be underestimating the faith that auburn fans have in their team. I think the majority of auburn fans aren't hoping to win this game. They are expecting to. That's pressure not to lose.

I'd heighten terrorist security around the Auburn/Opelika region as a precaution. Alabama would go full IRA mode

For us, absolutely. Our program has evolved to a point where it doesn't matter who lines up against us. Our job is to beat the frick out of them, and move on.

So fricking pathetic

Maybe. I'm not sure I've spoken to someone who expects to win; just recognize it as a possibility.

The Orange and blue hazy cloud from over 100,000 paper shakers they gave out.

I was a little kid at the 1989 game. Went with my dad and grandad. Was separated from them in Tiger Walk and nearly trampled. Everyone walked into that stadium with about 3 shakers each in hand since no one knew AU was gonna give out 100k as you entered the Hare.

Really do not think any game in history before or now will reach the intensity level of that day. It was not 1 year in building. It was a decade of buildup.

The crowd has nothing to do with this. Bama plays better on the road. Auburn won in 1989 because they were the better team.
