lol at people saying that he shouldnt do that.
If you can push your guy to the ground like a rag doll, then fricking do it.

More evidence of the "just make a play" mentality taking the place of proper coaching (not from the coaches from the fans). If he does it correctly every time he has nothing to worry about. Something goes wrong/mistimes his attempt to get on sportscenter we have a new starting QB.

I wouldn't let Liberty coach my balls, let alone an O-Line.

It was a running play up the middle. You are taught to do that if they run up field. He played it perfectly.

It was a draw play. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. Force the DEs upfield so they can't make a play on the RB. Obviously he wouldn't do that on a pass play.

Force them outside, get in phase, maintain contact until the the back breaks it/you hear the whistle.

He let the guy get past his in this one (more so than the Kentucky one). Too much penetration, like the UK one was a freak play and he was trying for this one.

wow. Surely you are capable of realizing that when your guy runs upfield on a draw play that he can get as much upfield penetration as he wants. Cyko completely pushed him out of relevance to the play.

Until Cyko misses and the guy has a free shot on AJ even after the ball is handed off. Left tackles should never let a guy between he and the QB no matter the circumstance. Like I said the Kentucky one was a freak play, he looked to be trying to hard on the UT one. He keeps doing someone is going to pick up on it during film, go low, and nail AJ in the mouth. Not to even mention Drake dances in the backfield the guy has a chance to recover (if its a glancing blow) and makes the tackle. Its a freakishly athletic play but if he gets into a habit it could turn out to be bad. There is a reason its not taught as basic technique.

It's probably a good idea if AJ quits throwing too. He's good and all, but what if he misses? I can't bear to think of the consequences.

Looks to me like he knew exactly what the defender was going to do and took his shot at him. Great technique by CyKo.

Bro you can't be serious? he wouldn't do this on a pass. This works perfectly for a draw play. Not sure how you're missing this?
