I was just about in the middle of this picture at that time.

If you were to go under the bleachers at that time, you would have seen how packed it was with people trying to get out of the sun and cool off.

Yes this is another excuse for the pussification of tiger nation, but that is the hottest I can remember being in the stadium. People were dropping like flies, and concessions were out of water in the 3rd qtr.

My seats are in the east upper deck at the 25 yard line on the north side. We are basically looking down on the north endzone seats. The empty seats in the student section are always obvious - especially those under the score board. There are always empty seats there.

yep, they had a few people taken out on stretchers in our area.

Happens to us at Kyle weekly as well.

I've already seen it happen twice this year where I sit and that's without being able to make it to the SHSU game.

Thanks for your concern. Some ofof it may have something to do with opponents. It was about the same for auburn and kent state. I think UAB drew more. Get it?

There weren't but the Bama/A&M game probably wasn't as humid either. Plus it was way more hyped than the Florida/LSU game.

Honestly, probably the biggest reason there were empty seats was b/c, fair or not, Florida is considered kind of boring to watch and wasn't expected to to really challenge LSU. I was really surprised at how many of my friends had zero interest in that game.

LOTS of people standing in the ramps and concourses on the east side trying to find some shade. The sun whipped my arse yesterday. I got home from the game and passed out.

DAY GAME!!!! There have ALWAYS been empty seats on day games no matter who we have played. Many of our fans say, "It's a day game and it's on tv". Some of our fans are soft. MAN UP TIGERS!

It's a universal problem for scrub games.

This was Florida vs. LSU, no excuse for any seats to be empty.

This.

Attendance has been a day game problem for years. And will continue to be. You can't force someone to go to a game when they buy a ticket.

Anyone that doesn't realize this clearly hasn't gone to a CFB game at ANY stadium in the last 3-4 years.

Our rich fans have showed up?

The crowd was not loud at all either. Also, I noticed a lot of empty seats mid 4th quarter when it was still a one score game.

People are wimpy these days and day games are still day games as LSU, but UF had two procedure penalties late in the game on a series of downs deep in LSU territory, so it got loud when it was needed the most and it affected UF's team.

It was really hot. I think the hottest ever was that Tennessee Monday night game after Katrina. I think I died twice...
