I wont go so far as to say we should have gone to war but I will say this:

Having been in the USAF during the 90's and having also been an Arabic Linguist who was charged with monitoring the situation, I can say that there absolutely WERE WMD in Iraq as of Spring 1997...what they did with them between then and the time UN Inspectors were finally allowed in, I cant say.

I have spent the better part of the past 10 years shaking my head at the official report saying there were none.

That being said, still no excuse to invade Iraq when we did, as they really didn't have a dog in the fight we were supposedly fighting at the time (Al Qa'eda).

FYI, for all of you frickers who say AL Kay-duh...the correct pronunciation is al Qah-ed-ah, and that translates to "the base"

We're talking about the phenomenon of how blind faith in the "benevolence" of authority....... often makes otherwise rational people turn into sheep that will believe anything they are told.

Example: Nobody saw or heard a whistle being blown. But, that is somehow the official explanation that is being used to rationalize this bullshite.

Go post gifs and www-slang somewhere if you can't even understand what is being discussed. Nobody is accusing Bush of knocking the towers down............

You forgot "Sheeple" at the end of that

From what I've read from you, Jefferson, we probably agree politically a good bit. I'm a libertarian who was against the Iraq War from the outset. I just haven't seen any compelling evidence that 9/11 was a conspiracy of any sort so I really struggle to follow that. I know that not all people who think it may be a conspiracy are saying Bush knew, as you alluded to.

Is "9/11 truther" really a "nasty little smear label"? I apologize if it is, but that seems pretty thin-skinned to be honest.

Yes. I was going to go back and edit but got lazy.

Syria is not a big technology country and was actually my primary area of responsibility. They sure as hell didn't make the Sarin gas themselves.

You can call me whatever you want. I could care less. I'm only concerned about the principle involved here......

......how people will try to quash down any kind of "unorthodox" or "taboo" thinking or questioning of authority by simply throwing out smear-labels like "conspiracy theorist" or "9/11 truther" as if that ends the debate.

Why not sack up and address the tough questions that are being presented?

A: Because most people are under some sort of mind-control apparently.

Haven't ever read up on the passports story, so I'll have to get back to you on that. Any suggestions on where the best place to learn about that is?

I definitely don't try to squash unorthodox or taboo thought. I examine the evidence and form an opinion. Not everyone that disagrees with you is out to silence you like a tyrant, Jefferson.

I agree there were some bad calls in the game that went Clemson's way but it was obvious that Clemson was the better team. N.C. St.'s OL actually protected their QB better than ours did Murray vs Clemson but State just doesn't have enough skilled play makers to seriously challenge Clemson this season. The Wolfpack defense played a lot better against the Tigers than our defense holding McDowell to just 68 yards rushing with 171 total rushing yards. The box score actually reflects a pretty close game.

Buncha dipshits in this thread.

Dawgs get their arse whooped by Dabo & suddenly sit up and take notice of some injustice of the game? Y'all are just simple bystanders (Clemson included) & Georgia Tech the tragic hero. Wake the fck up.

Of course not.

Just read the 9/11 Commission Report.

There is no way to read it and not scratch your head about the accuracy of some of their explanations. Their official story about one of the passports is only one example. But..........if you really have the sack and the guts to think for yourself, I dare you to start examining the controversy surrounding Building 7.

Very bizarre and disturbing stuff there. Good luck even finding Building 7 mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report though........................

I should think its obvious, Jeff.

Chris is a fan of Tech, which is heavily populated by Asians. Hes an Asian sympathizer.

Over the years, we have had our share of troubles with Asians...Japan, China, Russia (don't let that Eastern Europe bs fool you, the vast majority of that country is in Asia proper.)

Just call em like I see em.

Y'all are like infantile little babies when it comes to conspiracy theories and handling adversity & cannot tell the difference between your a-hole or if it's a hole in the ground?

We're in the next level of troubleshooting stage or the one above that.

Get back at me when ya leave the SEC & have to deal with some real life situations.

Doesn't Tech play Clemson on a Thursday night this year?......

I'll make sure to get my stop-watch out and time the handful of GA Tech promos they'll show.......... versus the non-stop Clemson info-mmercial that the ACC is pushing.....

Hell.... If Clemson is ahead at the end of the 3rd quarter, the officials might even call the game.

If people ask, "Hey...What about the 4th quarter? ".......They'll just say, "What do you mean? We played 4 quarters. Look away."

And people will fricking look away and think that they played all 4 quarters...........and if you argue that they only played 3 quarters, you'll get called a "conspiracy theorist".
