Saw it and was pissed. That was a quick 14 point turnaround. ACC Refs protecting their best chance at a title.

Its amazing to me the refs can issue a statement 4 plays later saying "yep.. we effed that one up... sorry guys" and there is no consequences.

Couldn't the NC State coach challenge that call?

Apparently, blowing the play dead for stepping out of bounds is not reviewable...seems like there was some forethought. Ref looking for a way to affect the game without it being taken away.

If they had ruled the play a TD, it could be challenged/reviewed. Since it was ruled OOB, it can't be challenged.

I place the blame on the HC for not trusting his player and not challenging. Esp with three timeouts remaining. Thats the moment in time where you pull the guy to the side and say "did you step out?" if he said no then go for it. and it was reviewed briefly and the call on the field stood. David pollack was livid.

They reviewed it after the play resumed and came to the conclusion they blew the call, horribly, but bc it was oob it was all for not

Comments about this game being Fixed aren't an exaggeration.

There was a similiar play in the first quarter by NC State that ALSO went for a TD that was reviewed.........and showed the player did, in fact, step out of bounds by a quarter-inch.

The second TD.... that actually was a TD.... did not get reviewed however.

frick the ACC.

To any of you that watched...... What would you say the ratio of Clemson University advertisements were to NC State advertisements?

Aren't they usually suppose to be split evenly during games for the universities? I honestly felt like I was watching a Clemson University info-mmercial last night.

This shite is too blatant. The ACC has been irrelevant for so long......and they've gotten so desperate to climb out of the hole.........that they're being sloppy with their devious tactics here.

Total disgrace.

It was blown dead. You can't challenge it. What part about this don't you understand?

It was not reviewed.

For some reason the media is in love with Clemson this year.

I do believe the refs made the difference in the Georgia-Clemson game.

How many times did Georgia have to start 1st down and 25?

I swear Georgia is the only team I ever see get penalized for crackback blocks.

I seem to remember two officials on the field ruling it a touch down.

Isn't that what it means when officials raise two hands up in the air?

Only takes one whistle. The sideline ref behind the play blew it dead. Even if all the refs but one think it's a TD but that one blows a whistle, play is dead. It's unreviewable. That's why they should always let close plays like that go and review it and make the correct call.
