Sorry to hear that.

I'm really looking forward to playing on Thanksgiving again, though. Hoping to make the trip, but we'll see.

Yes, the north and west sides will be done next offseason. We are demolishing the west stands and rebuilding them.

In 2015 the brick façade and all four towers will be finished.

now that makes a lot more sense, I was under the impression(thought I had read)you were building it all in one year. That would be a helluva undertaking and impressive accomplishment.

Looking good Mizzou.

So glad y'all were the ones to join us in this crazy messed up, fun as all hell, conference.

Same here. Leaving the XII for the SEC is like upgrading the gf from a local fattie to a super model.

Kyle looks badass. Quick question that has probably already been asked but this thread is too big to search through. Are they planning on making the facade match on all the sides of stadium?
More or less. Because of the angled overhang and proximity of the Bright building, they will not have much of a brick façade on the south end, but the West side will be completely rebuilt, with a façade like the East (it should look better as it will be housing the suites and club level, and therefore, will involve more glass than open spaces), and they will redo the façade on the north endzone to match the rest. Once it's all tied together, it will look pretty good--not as good as a complete new build, but it will have more character than some of the new stadiums you see.

A couple of things on Kyle...

I'm surprised they didn't just tear down the last two decks and have a brand new stadium(The Zone notwithstanding)... It's going to be strange to see it centered/new on one side and not the other.

Seems like it would make sense(to me personally) to expand/renovate the Bright building into the facade on that side of the stadium, giving it kind of a FSU look on that side and sort-of connecting almost all of your football facilities...

The Bright building will be connected to the new south end zone.

As for the facade, there is some confusion about how much facade will be going up in the south and north end zones. I honestly don't know. We've seen different models. But a facade definitely will not go all the way up in the south end zone.

This was all about zoning. The Top 2 Decks that remain on the East side are all student tickets who stand the entire game. They are currently zoned at 18" seats which works because they are all students who stand. If they tore down those decks they would be rezoned at 24" per seat. Thus the capacity would be significantly reduced so students could be more comfy (and less loud since there would be fewer). Since a priority was to keep the students with over 32k season tickets and to allow them to stay in good seats they kept the upper 2 sections (student seats are also half price).

They also had to take out the lower section because that is where all the infrastructure comes from and they have more prime seating there along with new suites. All of this was possible because all 3 decks were built independently of each other.

Hoping the back of the Press Box is lit up with "HOME OF THE 12TH MAN". There are renderings where they have it, and renderings where they don't. But it would be awesome to have that illuminate the sky.

I guess they're pretty much done with exterior work at this point, both inside and outside of the stadium. They've got 5 or 6 weeks to finish up everything on the inside.

We would have been forced to bring the rebuilt stands up to code, widening the seats and losing thousands of existing student seats. By leaving them be they got grandfathered in.

That picture of Kyle.... It's not MY stadium and it makes me feel incredibly old.

It does look cool though.

All the bama fans who were upset LSU was including SRO in their capacity numbers can rest easy. Turns out they won't be counted.

The project is adding about 8,000 seats and the new capacity does not count standing room only

I have it on good authority that Arkansas got new tablecloths for the Raymond Miller room.
