I don't believe in this program anymore.

I believe there was going to be a transition period - not only in the switch from Texas recruiting to Florida and Georgia - but in elevating the overall quality level from the XII to the SEC.

Has Pinkel been up to the job? We'll find out in the next 2-3 years.

We desperately need JUCO DE's and WR's. 2 of each as we have nothing coming back next year. From the tweets of Loud and Moore I wouldn't be surprised to see them transfer after the season. If this season goes as it's trending, we can't wait 2-3 more years, the staff needs to make changes at the DC position and bring in someone who can recruit high level kids. Look at how many local kids at positions of need we are letting leave the state this year, it's unreal.

Fletcher Adams to MSU. We were recruiting him pretty hard for a while, but hard to pull a Mississippi kid out of the state with offers from both big instate schools.

Loud and Moore are not going anywhere if they are smart. No one coming back at either position. They can both start for 3 years.

Of note in our new Recruiting Roundup feature is that Marquise Doherty (@conKEYSEtador) has set officials to Oregon (11/21) & Mizzou (12/5).

Scout has an article about Anree Saint Amour's leaders - anyone know if Mizzou was mentioned?

Beckner will be visiting for the Georgia game with Nate Strong.

Edit: I heard wrong, Dougherty is not out for the season, but does appear injured as Brian from PM is covering the game and said he has barely played. Owen, our recruit from Kearney is injured and not playing this week as well.

I agree, same every year unfortunately. If you look at our hot board on PM, it's like 1 4* and then a bunch of 3's and 2's. I know this is how we always do, but it's still disappointing year after year to pull in under the radar recruits. I mean, after a top 5 finish, 12-2, and an SEC East championship, if you can't sell and capitalize on that then you never will.

Georgia tight end decommits from Missouri
34 minutes ago
Long time Missouri commit Daniel Imatorbhebhe has had a change of heart. On Sunday, the three-star tight end out of Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett informed the Missouri staff that he has decommitted from the program. The decision comes after Imatorbhebhe took a recent official visit to Florida but it was in the works even before that.
The clock is now ticking for Imatorbhebhe to find his next home and as an early enrollee, he doesn’t have the luxury of waiting until National Signing Day. Currently, the 6-4, 227-pounder has plans to take his second official visit to Cal on the weekend of October 17th. He has also been in communication with USC and is hopeful that an offer will come from the Trojans.
“They’ve been talking that good stuff,” Imatorbhebhe said of the Trojans. “I’ve been in a lot of communication with them. Chuma (Edoga) was on his official visit this weekend and he said all they talked about was me and Josh (Daniel’s younger brother Josh Imatorbhebhe is a 2016 four-star wide receiver).
“Coach Tee (Martin) called me about two weeks ago and said I’m going to keep fighting for you. I’m hopeful about it but at the end of the day I’m going to just ball for my team.”
Imatorbhebhe also left excited about his experience in Gainesville but doesn’t want to make a rushed decision with a commitment.
“Florida is fairly high,” he said. “I liked it when I when I was there. It’s different how much you like a place there versus after it calms down. I don’t want to commit and not know how the season is going to play out, especially with a coach on the hot seat right.”
Other schools that have stayed in communication with Imatorbhebhe and his brother include Vanderbilt and Ohio State. Both Daniel and Josh plan to play together on the next level.

Well that sucks. We backed off other TE's after he committed. Will be interesting to see where we go from here. We have needs at several positions to fill (DE, WR, TE) and have no real help for next year committed at this point. It's concerning but there's still time.

Well if that doesn't suck a big bag of dicks. Guess we knew it was coming. Guess we can move on from his brother too. Doesn't Anree go there too?

I am sure we can find another diamond in the rough somewhere.

We have a syud QB starting and another stud in this class. Why are we having problems getting WR's and TE's???

We are thin there and plenty of opportunity.

He was an average player. The play was him and his brother. It didn't seem Mizzou is anywhere on his radar now. Oh well.

Unfortunately, there is no one else available that we had offered. Unless Chris Clark realizes Brady Hoke is done at Michigan and he decides to look elsewhere(doubtful), we need an unknown.

We do however have Blanton and Reese until 2017 and Culkin until 2016. They are looking at a good one for 2016.

Isaac Nauta is from Buford GA where we found Thomas Wilson last year. He has tons of offers but Mizzou doesn't seem to be on his radar yet.

BTW- Mike Kelly is thrilled he doesn't have to say Imatorbhebhe

Coming at it from a sales point of view, we seem to not be able to close the deal. We are in the hunt for a lot of these guys who then fade and then decommit and then end up at a program that doesn't seem to offer the same opportunities we have here. It's maddening.
