having a full time OL coach is gonna be a plus IMO.

I'm not sure who else he could realisticly hire that would be better than someone who was a NFL HC and OC for years

both would have to be replaced though because cam is a qb guy. so that takes krags role away from him and it means we hire a new oline guy unless stud is demoted.

Miles isn't gonna baby Krags his entire life because he's sick. This is business.

I'm pretty sure Cameron stood in Miles' wedding, or vice versa.

it should be a plus, but how well will stud handle a demotion if that indeed happens? it could cause some chemistry problems if he is unhappy

now if les pulls in cam, moves krags to a admin job and has a good oline coach waiting in the wings props to les.

hell the only reason he got the gig was because of krags being sick. didnt he get a damn nice payraise too because of it? he needs take his medicine, STFU, and coach the damn OL or leave.

Cam actually seems to run an offense that fits with Miles' style offense. I never understood why Miles brought in Crowton and gave the OC gig to Stud when they dont even run his type offense.

Cam Cameron only sounds like a good hire because of his NFL experience. But he's been fired from his last couple of jobs and, seeing as he can't find work in the league, he's not highly regarded in those parts. Also...Miles has his hands all over that offense and he doesn't seem to mind what the offense is doing.

dumb. He was fired as a head coach from the Dolphins, just like your boy Nick Saban. He was highly successful as an OC for the Chargers before that, enough to parlay it into becoming a head coach in the NFL. He had a hand in developing Brees, Rivers, and Flacco. You don't get 10 years as an offensive coordinator in the NFL without being highly regarded. Almost every coach hired this offseason was an Offensive coordinator previously, they're going to hire someone who will implement their system, not a guy with 10 years as an OC who wants to do things his way.

I don't know if it will happen or not, but it'd be a home run if it did. lulz at the Bama fans rating it a 5 or below.

I don't think that would be a great hire. The Ravens didn't look like Super Bowl contenders until after he was fired. He didn't want to put the ball in the hands of his best player in Ray Rice, so I don't think he is that good.

the ravens didnt look like superbowl contenders really until the playoffs. they struggled with caldwell as well in the regular season. and i think ray rice's carries were basically the same with both coordinators.

either way i doubt it really matters. we keep shuffling OC's in here and the offense never improves.

I think this hire would be the final piece of the puzzle needed to get the team it's next championship, so i say 10.Any one who does not believe this is a hater.

I think it would be an upgrade, which is really all that matters for LSU fans I reckon. You say that about Rice but i think he averaged like one more carry a game after Cameron left.

Id rank it an 8.

I don't think CLM will get rid of Stud or Kragthorpe despite this hire. Krags would handle QBs and Stud would go back to OL

Check mate if it happens!
