Memphis City Schools' investigation into the transcript change that came to light last summer involving former Wooddale High running back Jovon Robinson produced no other evidence of wrongdoing by other MCS employees, the system's interim superintendent said

"Unless the District is presented with new evidence, we consider the matter to be closed," interim MCS superintendent Dorsey Hopson wrote in an email to The Commercial Appeal

Case Closed. Suck it SECr

h/t AUtig24 for finding link & quotes

well if Auburn knew this to be the case, why did kick him to the curb? Should've just went ahead and played him like they did Cam.

A quick glance at your name made me do a double take. I was curious what kind of person called himself tampon.

Title is misleading in reference to jovon himself, all this states is no one else was involved, which is good for auburn. Jovon still has to deal with the grades.

Please do not ruin my gloat thread with logic and reason, fellow Aubie

I could change the letters in your name around and make something giggly-giggly about it, but I'm older than 12 - so I'll pass.

The finding by Memphis City schools has no bearing on any decision by the NCAA. The NCAA and MCS do not have mutual interests.

The article failed to mention Auburn is the one who found the discrepancy and reported it to the NCAA.

You missed my point - of which there wasn't one, but you're obviously angry over something - so whatever.

Good.

I wish all the negative crap focused on the SEC would go hang out with Texas, ND and OSU.

I'm sick of hearing one school turned another in.

Hopefully, this kid can get his stuff together and play some ball at Auburn or some other FBS program.

The third paragraph in the article. He was hardly cleared.

This. There is a difference between "He was cleared" and "His case was closed."

I read this and the words "butt" & "hurt" come to mind

Why would I be butthurt about a kid we didn't recruit who will never contribute to you, when Auburn apparently had nothing to do with the grade changes?
