That's why the coaches all buy condos in MS and AL.

FWIW, the distance from BR to serviceable beaches is a bit further than the distance from Gainesville to beaches.

I'm not arguing with you though. You seem right.

BDS is better than 90% of stadiums, Alabama's campus is better than 90% of campuses.

I'll take the Quad at LSU over anywhere in the country, and Tiger Stadium is clearly better -- but Alabama is no slouch.

It doesn't have the prettiest campus, the best stadium or the most populous recruiting base. But what it does have is an aura, a houndstooth history deep in championships. "Roll Tide" isn't a saying, it's a way of life. You either believe or you don't.

Actually it is considered one of the prettiest campuses in the country. And show me a stadium that looks better than this:

I seriously question if this person has been on campus before, or seen the stadium since the two expansions.

was from last year.

And yes, Bama at the time had 8 major poll titles and 22 SEC Championships.

Since has won its 9th major poll Natnl Title (more than anyone) and its 23rd SEC title (more than anyone).

That's from last year. Alabama has 9 poll titles and 23 SEC titles now. Looking for #10 poll title.

The fact that he combines NFL and college in the first place is just dumb.

jimmies so rustled

Tiger Stadium > BDS and it's not really even close. Only a Bama fan would think otherwise. Ask Scott van Pelt which stadium is better.

If you like old, ugly stadiums that appear as if they are going to fall down, Tiger Stadium is your place.

If you like new, beautiful, cathedrals to the game then BDS is your place.

Its just a matter of what you prefer.

You've clearly missed the point here. I've haven't compared Bryant-Denny Stadium to any other stadium. However, you're sitting there suggesting Tiger Stadium is far-and-away better. While there's no objective way to prove this, one way or the other, that is just pile of homerism on your part. Tiger Stadium is still in need of more structural updates and modernization. If you want to talk about atmosphere and decibel readings, that's another story.
