No reason to get so upset, ace. You like shitty things. That's cool. Some of us aim higher.

Well you can only get so much ambience with 100k sitting fans and their menacing man-poms.

No, the two go hand-in-hand. LSU wins that aspect of the stadium ratings by a country mile.

Lolwut?
Campus is really nice, and the stadium is by far the nicest one I've ever been in besides Jerry World.

See, you say "shitty."

Now, I like the renovations that Joe Alleva has been in charge of. We're expanding TS and the new paint and windows look great.

However, there was a certain intimidation factor present with the broken windows and worn down walls. Teams would walk up to it and feel like they were entering an insane asylum. It was almost eery.

Sorry I dont think the atmosphere of toothless LSU fans screaming tiger bait is all that great. Maybe I had Tiger Stadium built up in my mind, but I came away very let down by the whole experience.

Yeah UF should be ahead of LSU. And the Texans being on here is kind of a head scratcher.

Not from a program history perspective, which Gene seems to have factored in by ranking ND #1 job in CFB.

LSU>>>UF all-time. Tigahs on the verge of being in Top 10, UF is somewhere in the 20s in all-time wins.

Neither UF nor LSU are ranked in the top 25 in winning percentage.

UF is at .630
LSU is at .648

Also, Houston Texans? No. Tradition counts for something

In the NFL? Very few teams have a rich tradition....Pittsburgh, San Fran, Green Bay, Dallas....

I think tradition is bogus, just look at the Dolphins. The Texans PACK their stadium and support their team, even when they sucked as much as the Dolphins who have easily a better history and more rich "tradition".

I don't see how ND is so high. Not that it's a bad job but it seems like a really tough one. Let's just face it...there are some stub players that have no shot getting into ND. Lacy would have NO shot. Then they have a schedule that has potential to be impossible to run the table with...and no championship game to get that last push if needed. Florida and Alabama should be above them IMO. LSU should be right there too. I respect the hell out of that place and personally think it would be one hell of a job.
