You probably overlooked what I thought the punishment should have been, thread got to moving fast.
IMO, a just punishment, would have been 6 months jail(eligible for good behavior, early release, whatever it could be), a couple hundred hours of community service to benefit abuse victims and 3 to 5 yrs probation.

I couldn't come up with a punishment, but this seems like a pretty decent scenario. But he is lucky to not be a registered sex offender.

Stupid arse Judge and law enforcement for even pursuing this. Sure it was a dumb arse move by Downing but it does not warrant jailtime. Sometimes good people do dumb arse schit when drunk and caught up in the moment. Should have popped him with probation, stiff fines, and some type of community service but not jailtime. It's going to cost taxpayers more to house him than it's worth. He didn't physically hurt anyone and the Teabagee should assume a little of the responsibility for putting his drunk stupid arse in that situation. Anybody who thinks he needs jailtime for this is a moran!!!
I know I did some schit too when I was younger that IF I got caught I may have gone to jail too if I ran across some a-hole cops or an a-hole judge.

I fully agree with this. Once you pull your pants off and rub your balls all over someone, you have lost your leverage and don't really have much room to complain about the punishment if your actions fit the criminal code.
