Can Petrino recruit?

With all the talk of Petrino being a candidate, wanted to see how he recruited while at Arky. Not very impressive.

Not saying I wouldnt like to have him calling plays, but we got to have someone get some players in here too.

That was at Arkansas and he took those classes and beat our arse with them. I'd like to think he could get better classes by virtue of being at Auburn alone.

when has Arkansas ever recruited well? it's a harder place to recruit to, but the guy was still winning lots of games and had Arkansas as a potential NC contender this year.

Petrino isn't going recruit on the troopha level, but he doesn't cheat (no phun intended).

He will better at AU and gets the most of his players. Don't need to worry about the NCAA either.

He is not particularly strong at it, but no one can deny he can coach them up.

From what I've heard, he is not great in the living room. He's just not a very likable guy. Great offensive coach.
