Bama fans: BDS is changing

Has anyone else noticed over the last few years that BDS is getting louder and more electric than it use to be? I feel that the recent success of the program, younger alumni getting tickets now, change in pregame music, and the larger student section has made a huge difference. I feel like the snobby older gray hairs that had season tickets that did nothing but sit the whole game aren't as much of an issue anymore.

Rocky Block in 09 was the loudest Ive ever heard Bryant Denny. A lot has to do with Saban/our recent success and finishing off the endzone expansion project.

It's not loud at all anymore except for rare occasions because threat of losing is so small

Had a friend play at Tulane, and he played at several places including LSU and he said BDS was the loudest he'd been in.
Also, I did some work for the team for a while in 2007 and I can say first hand that the way our stadium is built, the loudest spot is down on the field.

I think you can say this for every stadium.

I would have hated to be at either of those, as an opposing fan, if they were louder than the 1st half of the 2010 IB...That was the loudest stadium I have ever been in.

I think those games were louder, but I have suppressed all memory of that day so I could be wrong.

05 was, could not carry on a conversation during that game.
Rocky Block was loud the entire game but the block broke windows miles away - just kidding but it was loud!!

To be fair, LSU hasn't been excited about playing Tulane since the 60's. I would rather see us square off against Appy State than Tulane since I know it would be a better game.

True. I'll be there for Nov 3. Excited to see a game in Tiger Stadium.

Second half was only loud in the upperdeck the last time I was there in 2010.
