I was at that game, too. We had a TD called back because of a fricking UGA penalty.

We missed a fricking extra point.

Then, because of that, fricking little midget Billy Bennett kicked a game winning FG.

Peprah's strip was awesome though

Sorry, but I've heard it be louder than any of those games I've listed. I'm only basing it on the games I've been to.

You said it's the loudest stadium you've ever been to. Your own fans are in here saying it's not even close.

That entire game is on youtube. Just found it and it will be on my Sunday watch list.

BDS is simply a victim of design. Look at the lower bowl and how wide it opens up. Compare that to Jordan-Hare, The Swamp, and Tiger Stadium. All three hold in the noise much better. I've been to all SEC stadiums (except Mizzu & A&M but that will soon change) and can say that BDS can get loud, but for the most part is nowhere near what you experience at Auburn, Florida, or LSU. In fact, I'd say they also all behind Tennessee & Georgia most of the time as well.

I've always thought this. Look how far the first row of fans are from the 50 yard line . . then compare that to the swamp.

BDS is nice, comfortable, and enormous. I like to think of it as maybe the nicest in the country. But the loudest or most intimidating? Don't know about that. But nice to hear other fans refer to it as being "loudest ever" because I've never thought of it. Iron Bown 1990, or a couple of UT games at Legion Field always seemed louder to me.

I can say first hand that the way our stadium is built, the loudest spot is down on the field.

For frick sake. That describes every stadium ever built. And the next time lsu fans gets loud for Tulane will be the first.

Loudest moment in any stadium Ive experienced was Tiger Stadium in 96 when Bama came to town. Pretty early in the game LSU scored a TD and I thought the place was about to implode. TD got called back on a penalty though, they missed a FG, and Shaun Alexander exploded on the scene. It wasn't very loud thr rest of the night.

Loudest I e heard BDS was the Oklahoma game. Ridiculous.

I've been to JHS when they played Bama, and it's almost as loud as BDS.

I've also been to JHS when they played a cupcake, and that place is a minor league baseball park compared to BDS

On the rare occasion that JHS is full, and hasn't been taken over by away fans, it can get pretty loud.

We consistently sell out SEC games and I've never really seen it "taken over" by opposing fans.

ETA: Haven't missed a home game since 07 but apparently you go to more AU home games and such so fill me in.

Hopefully most fo those people are dying. I can't stand to go to a football game and have someone tell me to sit down. I feel like telling them to sell their tickets to someone that enjoys going to the games and stay their boring arse at the house.
