Has a School Ever Had At Least 1 FB Championship Each 4 Years Over a 12yr Span?

Since 2000, each football player enrolled at LSU on scholarship that stayed all 4 years, has played in at least one BCS title game. Has any other school ever pulled off this feat (let alone win at least 1 title)
Think about that for a minute. From 2000 on, each player that stayed 4 years, could have a national championship ring.

Which one did Patrick Peterson play in?

Miami: 1980-1991.

Only if they stayed 4 years. Teams that good are gonna send some to the pros after 3.

I know what he meant. Some redshirt freshmen from '03 even have 2 rings.

Miami.
Every four year player between 1980 and 1994 got to play in at least one title game.

If you're talking about players who stayed 4 years, it would be up until 1995 because the 1992 team played for the title.

Probably Bama players. They've won like 47 championships the last 12 years

Nah. Les will never match Saban's recruiting.

Debatable, but Miles doesn't need to. According to Todd MacShay, Bama has 4 players in the top 17 in the draft, yet they couldn't beat a bunch of underclassmen at home.

Guess he will just have to keep outcoaching Saban with less talented teams....

If News Orleans ever moves out of the title game rotation LSU is screwed.
All kidding aside it is pretty amazing for a team to be in three title games exactly four years apart all basicallly in their back yard. There is no shame in being 2-1 in those three games.
