LSU "caused" bama to have to attempt those field goals at distances your kicker was unable to handle...not that difficult to understand

How many plays did LSU even have inside of Alabama's 30? How many plays did they have inside of Alabama's 40, and what were the results?

LSU had 3 plays I recall for certain that resulted in 9 points.

Except rushing. Which is pretty key if you ask me.

Congrats on the moral victory. I'll take scoring more points over gaining more yards anyday though.

What's your point? Bama caused the same thing for LSU, except they "caused" LSU to only be in position to even attempt 3 field goals total.

Bama's offense was able to get within field goal range 6 times. 4 of those attemps were very makable. One would have been a great kick. The one in overtime was nearly impossible.

I'm not sure what you're arguing.

So LSU allowed Bama to get within field goal range 5 times in regulation.

Bama allowed LSU to get within field goal range twice in regulation.

Uh, yeah we did.

So, you were kicking the ball from 50 yards out because you felt like it? Because you would rather kick from there than say, 25 yards out?

LSU's defense forced you to settle for long field goals that were outside your kicker's range.

LSU's defense also forced your coaching staff into really dumb decisions.

You are the kind of fan that I'm talking about, by the way. You refuse to give LSU credit for beating Alabama AT HOME in the biggest game in a quarter century.

Settle down. All teams have crazy fans. You should know that being that you are a LSU fan.

Where did LSU kick from?

Go look it up.

It wasn't 50 yards out, I'll tell you that.

I'll take a defense any day that keeps the other offense around the 30-35 as opposed to one that lets the other team drive inside the 5 right before the half.

Choke.

Or not. LSU earned all that, so I shouldn't say that Bama "let" LSU do anything.

How many plays did LSU have inside Alabama's 30 before overtime?

Can anyone answer this question? Serious question. I'd like to know the answer.

Go count them both if that matters so much to you.

The only ones that matter to me are these:

LSU Drew Alleman 19 yd FG
LSU Drew Alleman 30 yd FG

OT:
LSU Drew Alleman 25 yd FG

FYI, the only two that matter for you were outside the 30:
AL Jeremy Shelley 34 yd FG
AL Cade Foster 46 yd FG

I will concede (barely) the fantasy game to you.

When have I failed to give LSU credit? As a matter of fact, I've stated LSU is better at LEAST two different times in this very thread. Make this the third time. I've also stated that Miles outcoached Saban in multiple posts.

I'm not sure what you're bitching about.

The kid can't kick.

You don't have a kicker you lose that game 90% of the time.

I already clarified. I'm talking about the ones who continue to act as though Bama gave the game away to an inferior team instead of giving credit where its due.

I think you're just pissed that we're not all bowing at the feet of LSU and proclaiming you guys to clearly be the most dominant team in the history of sports.

Bama was better in two of three phases. Get over it. LSU was better overall.

Obviously they were only actually "in range" twice.

And I'm not sure why you're hanging your hat on 56 total yards that you amassed between the 30's to prove how Alabama is better.

Im sure that kid would knock in 50the yard field goals any other night. You should have punted a couple of those away.

We outrushed your vaunted attack. You still had less points on the scoreboard, at home, with the better Qb, better runningbacks, better Dline, better Dbs, better receivers, better coaches... how the frick did y'all lose this game again?

We'll pick those fricking dump passes off , next time, and you'll get NOTHING.

Your proof for that is pathetic and spurious.

No. Being "in range" means you have enough leg to kick it through the uprights. We've made field goals from those distances before (with the exception of the one in overtime). We got to within fieldgoal range of our kickers on 5 different occasions. LSU blocked one, and another was at the very far end of our kicker's range, but we had no choice.
