Look...this is a RESULTS ORIENTED industry...but, the FANS are not tied to that.

I have no issue with the fans of Bama not groveling after THAT game. LSU won. To the victors go the spoils of war.

But, if the 2 teams played 10 times, they would likely end up 5-5

You were three screen passes away from losing three out of thethe three aspects of the game. It never stops with you clowns.

Jeeze. Take some metamucil and try to unclench your bowels. Your team won. Relax. Be happy. I've never seen such a bunch of sore winners in my life.

So which is it?

Now you see how annoying it is when your whole fanbase bitches about refs, supposed dirty plays, etc.

Its the first. I'm talking about the ones who are screaming to high heaven because Bama didn't win, still claiming to be the better team.

Its not all Bama fans. Some are still maintaining that they actually played another team on Saturday. But, I imagine that too will pass as the vocal ones craft the narrative that everyone is going to end up accepting.

Anytime a team loses a game where they had multiple opportunities to win, especially an overtime game, the fan base is going to focus on the little things their own team did or didn't do that led to the loss. It is natural. LSU fans shouldn't get upset or feel disrespected by it. Every fan base in the country would be acting in a similar fashion.

Everybody read through this 5 times and then promptly SHUT THE frick UP AND MOVE ON FROM THIS GAME.

So to sum up this thread in one sentence:

"We (LSU fans) can bitch and moan about a close loss all we want to, but I'll be damned if another team does!"

lol. so the bama offense scored more and the bama defense held LSU to less points? got it.

did y'all make it to the red zone?

Bama had more first downs, more total yards, more plays, almost a full yard more per gain, and had more time of possession.

None of that is debatable. Bama only punted TWICE the entire game. Bama forced LSU to punt 6 times.

My bowels are fine.

As a winner, I'm satisfied. I've just been observing the media here since Saturday and now that the radio shows have started, it is almost as though Alabama was playing Vanderbilt or something.

I just didn't anticipate LSU not getting any credit after that game.

Lesson learned.

And you were 3 missed field goals in regulation away from losing 15-6.

Bama outperformed LSU on offense and on defense.

Nah that's one of LSU's traditions. They'd get mad if we copied em.

I heard a lot of people on the Rant, as well as many callers on local radio after the game, blame the refs and saying that Reid didn't intercept the ball.

Looks like the tradition is being passed on...

Probably should have at least 1 more time instead of trying for field goals outside of their ability to convert.

It was a close call. Refs got it right, but, as mentioned before, there would be a contingent of every fan base arguing that call.

Kind of like a team saying, "We only lost because we don't have a great QB."

This is a team sport. If your kicker sucks... well, he's a part of your team. Therefore, a portion of your team sucks. LSU was better overall.

If Bama had Sebastian Janikowski... maybe they win. However, if LSU has a healthy Peyton Manning, they probably win by more. just sayin, that's a pretty stupid statement.

Hook. Line. And sinker. What's done is done. Move the f on. There's still a 1/4 of a season left geez.
