and told them I'd be rooting for them the rest of the season.

I guess I do too now since they only have Arky and a bowl game left.

is it biased that I can see this happening before the other way around like you pank? I mean if you were brought up an LSU fan, but love how OM is an old south, conservative, high society environment. My gf dad is kind of this way. Vaught wouldnt offer him a scholly so he went to LSU, played next to Billy Cannon. And he loves LSU, but loves what OM represents as well. Its just hard for me to imagine it the other way around. Dont get me wrong, LSU is always my favorite road game because there is much to like, but I cant imagine actually pulling for them.

I've watched more LSU/OM games than just about anyone....granted they were on tape. I've also read/watched several other things related to the series. I've just developed a love for the LSU/OM rivalry. It's most definitely my favorite week of the year every year.

I was talking with Billy Brewer last year early in the LSU game and we were discussing the LSU/OM rivalry. He loves it even more. He kept talking about how much he missed busing down to Tiger Stadium. Coming up from the River Road route and slowing down when they came upon the LSU fans. He talked about how all the trash talking from the LSU fans just completed the week leading up to the game.

It's one of those things that I don't care if the Rivalry is one-sided or that other Reb fans don't agree with my feelings on it, the LSU/OM week is is college football to me.

True.. But if he's actually asking this question, very little chance of "manning" up

Beam, how are we not conservative? And I said we represent high society as in we dress nicely and are snobs. I didnt say we were high society just because of trolls like you that will disagree with anything that could be positive about OM.

If you have to ask that question, you might as well skip road trips.

Road trips are what you make of it. 99.9% of fans will treat you just fine

The remainder, who most of the time are drunk, might verbally abuse you but unless your vigilant about it, you'll survive.

That's everywhere in the SEC

especially LSU fans. Sure you might run into some tiger baitin and some douche's but for the most part LSU fans are the friendliest when it comes to offering food and drink

I'm not one of those bash-everything Ole Miss people - for the record, whole fried catfish at Taylor Grocery is the best catfish I've ever had (there, something nice )

But there are a ton of liberals at Ole Miss, more so than a lot of SEC schools. And yes y'all are snobs, but it's y'alls mentality that is annoying (hence the high society comment). The Grove is really cool (not that great for tailgating imo), and there is a lot that is unique about Ole Miss, but a lot that sucks too. Walmart food under chandeliers is hardly "high class", but that's just me. A lot of things y'all have are top notch, though, especially your women.

Sorry about the food. Personally, I tend to focus more on what I'm drinking than what kind of food my drunk arse is eating

Cooking before hand makes it too much shite to carry to the grove with a full cooler of beer and bourbon. I let my gf do the cooking

Just curious but where did the whole Wal-Mart chicken thing come from? Every tent that I've been to has cooked beforehand or grilled there at the tent.

I'm embarrassed for you. There appears to be some soft rebels on this board.

If JT Bowtie can pull it off, y'all can.

To each his own, food is obviously more important to us (and we have the fatasses to prove it) - and why do I have to pour a beer in a cup under a table so no cops see it, yet can drink bourbon from the bottle? Dumb

(I am a magnificent specimen I must say) but with a blue Ole Miss skull cap. My brother will be with me as well- he's a burly looking guy who most people would rather not mess with.

If you start shite with the LSU fans around you it won't matter what you look like.
There will be 90,000 people to back them up.

If you behave I doubt you will get messed with.

may not be the same thing but i wore my yankee gear to game 4 of the world series in philly. philly is by far the worst place to be an opposing fan at. all you're really going to get is yelling and aunting. i dont think people are going to try and fight you. i think as long as you have a fellow fan with you you'll be alright
