So should Tennessee stop trying to compete with Georgia since Georgia outspends them by $20 million a year? Do you think that is what most UT fans would be willing to accept from their Administration?
And why is it that Alabama has a much bigger budget than Kentucky or South Carolina, even though both those schools actually have larger enrollments?
You see, it is NOT all about population or enrollment, any more than it is all about money......
It is about effort extended......and desire.....

Actually, if I was a Georgia fan, I would want some of my money back. Just showing the gap that schools need to make up.

you know the people that get introduced at halftime of the basketball and football games for giving millions of dollars to the football or basketball programs and get a sweet chrome cowbell? where does all that money go?

At least that's what I'd guess.
You'd have to imagine that the small SEC schools operating costs have doubled since the new ESPN deal has been put into place.

At State it has gone to practice facilities, the weight rooms, and locker rooms in recent years. At Ole Miss it has gone to patch the holes in the roof of the Tad Pad.

I'm not. AK is a great coach. Yall have a good team. What I am doing is saying that whoever is from Ole Miss and talking shite to State about basketball needs to slow down and think first and let a little more ball be played this season instead of getting cocky and having another let down season.
