Good coaches up their recruiting game when they upgrade to better schools. It happens all the time.

I'm starting to think that Saban picked his successor, and that maybe the availability of the person he wanted could have been a now or never thing. The way he had said that this is the time for him to step away just seems odd. I'm probably reading too much into it, and the whisky probably isn't helping my thought process.
