Lmao A&M is a much better job. Everyone here would jump ship of another employer doubled their salary and gave them unlimited resources to succeed

When was the last time that has worked to get Texas A&M to a championship game?

A&M has too high expectations and think they deserve to win because they have alot of oil money.

None of that matter and you know that. Dude you just won your last home thread, and your spending your time entertaining that now A&M is hiring your coach bc some troll said so? Now do we have to listen to you shît on our school and why your coach is too good when we didn’t start the thread. God damn I know better than to come here sober. You guys are such boobs lmao

I'm not sure there would be good alignment. Drink is both a fan of the game and a players coach. He has an excellent team-oriented culture. Aggie has too much outside money involved to give him the autonomy he'd feel comfortable with, IMO.

True.

If Drink keeps a record of at least 6-7 wins on sub par year he will have a longer leash at Mizzou vs being at Texas A&M. If the dude starts winning 8-9 games every year he will become a Mizzou legend.

Since when did facilities win championships?

Come on now....y'all think you could get in a bidding war vs aTm?

Maybe ? Mizzou is the only FBS program in the state with enough f you money to stand up to anyone, they just aren’t vocal about it.

Here's the thing - A&M doesn't want another coach half-way to retirement that has accolades. They want a rising coach, specifically a young one. They want someone who knows the SEC.

That's why Dan Lanning is the best fit but not available, reportedly.

And no, I don't think Eli is tied to Mizzou, he reportedly was looking to exit last year when he was having a bad season.

Why would he take a lesser job?

He wouldn't...but the question is, why would he stay at a lesser job?

Mizzou is a much, much less job than aTm.
