Does Drinkwitz make sense for Texas A&M?

You gotta think the A&M people are going to look at Drinkwitz right?
I'm hearing from various Aggie people they want someone that's young.
I think it makes sense, I also think Drinkwitz would entertain it.

Money.

Probably not.
I think Drink wants to be that dude who takes Mizzou to a level greater than Pinkel and that means making a bid for a natty.

I dont think it's a good fit for drink or Aggy

They wouldn't even offer drink, his track record at Missouri isn't very good

You guys are still pretending this fake hypothetical is real. Smh

Drink is from Arkansas, why would he go to Texas outside of money? Even then, if Mizzou pays him 6-7 million a year, how much is Aggie willing to pay him?
Posted on 11/24/23 at 8:32 pm to BlacknGoldNuts
If you told me he was a yell leader in college, I would believe you. So yes

Nothing bc he has no Texas ties. We aren’t even hiring an SEC coach. Stop with the Aggies are going to poach [insert name] after a win. You’re getting trolled. /thread

Come on now....y'all think you could get in a bidding war vs aTm?
aTm is not going to go after Drink, anyway

Lmao A&M is a much better job. Everyone here would jump ship of another employer doubled their salary and gave them unlimited resources to succeed

Drink is the Mark Stoops of Mizzou. He ain’t leaving. He’ll retire at Mizzou like Gundy will at Okie Lite.

I've enjoyed seeing Drink and Mizzou have a good year, but I don't really think he's on the radar for A&M, for whatever reason.

I'm not sure there would be good alignment. Drink is both a fan of the game and a players coach. He has an excellent team-oriented culture. Aggie has too much outside money involved to give him the autonomy he'd feel comfortable with, IMO.
