I hate RG3, but he was spot on about that 3rd down run where Simpson slid down. That was my only real problem with his game today.

The people still pushing Pick Six Milroe are a lost cause. At least Ty took care of the ball.... showed he can at least hit some passes. Hard for any of the QBs to show what they can really do with this terrible OL. I'd honestly just rotate Simpson and Milroe...at least keep defenses guessing during their preparation...kinda like UF did with Chris Leak and Tebow.

Any QB that doesn't turn the ball over three times per game is better than Milroe. Last time I checked Ty managed to throw the ball to the correct team. Big advantage Ty Simpson.
As soon as Ty came in each series got better and slowly you started to see the offense look coherent.

I agree with this until I remember that Milroe throws more passes to the other team than to Bama WR's and I'm all like..., naaaaahhhh, no thanks.

Florida A&M threw for 400 yards on USF. Simpson throws for 70 in 3 quarters and you wanna crown the guy?

He looked composed. Like he wasn’t flustered by the situation. Honestly Buchner looked like a lefty trying to throw right handed. That was abysmal. I mean just as bad as I thought after watching his ND highlights. I liked Ty in the game. Led the only two touch downs of the game. I’m not sure he is better than Milroe, but I don’t think he is worse and his upside is a good bit higher I think.

Ty is the only QB on the team. He’s not a great QB but at least he is one. He could be Jake Coker albeit with an inferior O line and D behind him.

And if y’all can’t see that Ty is terrible I can’t help you.
This guy takes so long to see something. He takes longer sacks than Milroe and that’s hard to do.
Moving forward it should be Jalen vs Ty. And Jalen should play a lot moving forward. This situation fricking sucks but you idiots who wanted Milroe gone are fricked.
Ty isn’t the answer.

IF Ty Simpson takes all the first team reps all spring and summer, then gets the start against the cupcake week 1 I honestly feel we are undefeated right now.
Turnovers especially multiple turnover by the QB are statistically the quickest way to lose a football game.
This defense is good. All they need is a Greg McElroy. Ty Simpson will be at least as good as GMac in a few weeks.
Milroe will turn the ball over at least twice per game vs equivalent talent. It's too bad because the kid is electric but you cant ask the entire team to trust a guy that turns the ball over repeatedly
