Actually very proud of Ty. He actually looked excited to be out there. He was IN the game - being a leader. Got a great offside call on a hard count, a great long throw.

He is a manageable dude - good arm. He was excitable out there too - not looking scared at the sideline after each play.

He needs to learn to feel the pressure more - especially with our line.

One thing: Saban said at half that Simpson had the best practice during the week - so why the frack was he not starting?

He takes a lot of risks. He was looking for the homerun too many times on those early sacks.

I think it's coachable, but that risk is there. Hopefully with more time it eases out

Think he was talking about Buchner

Buchner hits that touchdown and we might have seen him finish out the game

Ty Simpson is barely better than Buchner.

Jalen is the dude we should be playing. Nick Saban is out of his mind not to play Jalen. Or Tommy whoever.

He’s tough, I’ll give him that. He was sacked no less than 33 times, and kept getting up and trying to do what he could.

Buchner looked like he was daydreaming about eating crayons.

Milroe looked… oddly happy to be sidelined.

With functional pass pro we wouldn’t even be discussing whether Simpson was the guy or not.

He looked very good with time to deliver the ball.

I'm curious to see how he looks after a full week of reps with the 1s.

After watching all three QBs, I like Ty the best…I think he could grow. Didn’t look scared

He had the best practice "of the backups." So he was next up.

I guess Tyler was the "starter" in practice.

Move him to tight end. Matchup nightmare. Win him the Heisman.

Ty us much better than Buchner but he isn't better than Milroe.

We have seen enough.

I don't know why it is hard for some to accept this because it's the reality at this point

I don’t know the dude barely knows the damn plays. Kinda concerning from a guy that has been locked in a QB battle for months

This is just insane and wonderful enough to work.

And you aren’t wrong. He needs to be SOMEWHERE, but QB just isn’t it.

He sat there pumping trying to make decisions... Milroe needs to be the starter...

That's exactly what we did with Milroe last week

It was a 10 - 3 game. Not not one Simpson pass hit USF players in their hands. uSF wasn't going to score unless there was a pick 6

You're right. He should have quickly thrown the ball to a DB.
