It's definitely not UF. But we're still ahead of the Vols.

There's atleast something there. Prior to 1998 there was just a bunch of talking heads putting a list together. It was essentially a popularity contest. 1998 and beyond you had 2 teams battling it out fot the NC. There's always going to be someone who feels that their team got snubbed.

Agree. UF was #2 for a minute. Now, UGA and LSU have a legit claim. In a few years it might be Auburn. Or Florida again. Or Tennessee again.

when?

The only case that could even fathomably be made would be in 2008 after winning their 3rd national title, but UT hadn't fallen off a cliff yet at that point. Even still when comparing to UT at that point it'd go:

National titles: Tie, or +1 for UF depending on your criteria
SEC titles: Massive edge to Tenn
All time wins: Tenn
Win Percentage: Tenn
Bowl games: Tenn
Bowl wins: Tenn

UF has never at any point in their history been the #2 ALL-TIME best program historically

4 more SEC titles doesn't trump natties and Heismans. Plus all time wins vs final ranked teams, win % vs final ranked teams, major bowl wins, and head to head.

VOLS have won more games over a much longer period of time than Gata. Now, Gata is even farther behind than Tigah and Dawg.

Sorry baw. Gata ain’t never been #2.

1) There isn't some SOP on a converstion chart between the 2. Personally I think 4 more SEC titles is FAR more important than 1 more national title. For many reasons that Iv'e already mentiond earlier.

2) Again you are stuck on heismans. If there was a hypothetical program that had a sub-.500 record all time with zero hardware of any kind but had won 15 heismans, woudl that be one of hte best programs in CFB hsitory? Of course not, it would mean they're a shitty team/program that's happene dot have some elite individuals play for it. Heismans are no different than #1 overall draft picks, it's a nice feather in your cap but it's an individual award handed out by a bunchy of other individuals. You are saying that's equally as important as actual wins on the football field against other temas. Crazy.

3 natty game wins over 1 trumps 4 additional SEC titles for 99% of us.
Again you think Heismans don't matter yet even Bama displays theirs with their natty trophies. Crazy.

People seem to get so uterly confused on the concept of "all time".

Flroida had an excelelnt run from 1991-2008. They were mostly mediocre to bad from the turn of the 20th century up until 1990, and they've been mostly mediocre-ish from 2010-present. One ~15ish year run of excellence doesn't catapult them above other programs that have been winnign consistntly for decades since the SEC was formed.

Looks like someone doesn't know what a strawman is.

I don’t have the time to argue logic with you today.
