The SECCG has only been around since 1992. So, charter member or not, every team except Texas A&M and Missouri have had the same amount of time to reach the championship game. And it only took Missouri three years. South Carolina is the only team that's actually made it that's taken longer than 12 years.
So, in other words, your point is fricking stupid and also not a point.

I'm going to be a non-puss and admit I forgot that you won't play them every year anymore.

We joined in 2010, not 1992

aTm will eventually get there. They have the facilities, resources, recruiting, etc. The other 3 may not in the next 50 years. The new divisionless format makes it even harder. There wont be a fluke year where one division is extremely weak and Kentucky sneaks in. It will be near impossible for the bottom 6 teams of the conference to ever have a top 2 record with so many elite teams to climb past.

Ole Miss. A&M if they hire a better coach.
Lmao at Kentucky. They aren't never doing much of anything in football.

Are the NCAA National Meat Judging Championships ever held in Atlanta?

I think no divisions will hurt the Aggie’s more than help.
With divisions there can always be a crazy year where someone gets to Atl with 2 or even 3 losses. Not gonna happen without divisions.

Kentucky
There is a reason they call it CatLanta because they go there so often.
Of course they probably need to ditch Cal first.

Depends on who happens to have a good team and get the steak and blowjob schedule from the SEC first. With the proposed formats being thrown about it is entirely possible a team that might have finished third in its division back in the day could go unbeaten in conference play and sneak into Atlanta if they get to avoid the real kingpins of the conference that season.
By the same token a team that would have finished second or third in its division back in the day might get the weenie put to them and get a march of death schedule that leaves them barely eligible for a bowl game.
I suspect the format is going to be tinkered with for a few years until things get sort of evened out. But it will be wild for a while.

Why are you saying Vandy is on the outs? Not saying we are going to Atlanta, but our program is significantly better than it was around 1980-2000. Our record the last 10 years has been pretty good for us. We are getting more competitive, not less. For anyone not named Bama or UGA, we are a good game.

Surely Ole Miss
Catch a schedule with no Bama or Georgia and miss 1 or 2 other good teams that season and have a decent team and sneak in.
But we’re Ole Miss. We went 7-1 in the conference and missed out on Atlanta in 03. Also the only team to finish 3rd in the West while beating the #1 and #2 team’s in the division that year. I think we may be the only team in the conference since 92 division set up to pull that off.

Honestly, out of those teams, I’d say it’s the Aggies.

So has Missouri and they made it back to back years.
But I think 8&4 has the best chance....not likely, but the best chance.

Ole Miss or A&M. Kentucky will have some decent teams going forward, but their window has closed for now. They have no shot getting past this juggernaut Georgia team.
Mizzou came close to beating UGA last season. Anything can happen.
