So a UGA fanboy doesn’t like negative press regardless of what it is or how many accounts are brought to light.

LSU didn’t fire Oregon “for cause” over the Title IX rape stuff bc LSU attorneys said it would weaken LSU’s position in Title IX lawsuits targeting the university. “Orgeron’s buyout deal requires him to participate in the defense of the university in Title IX suits.”
Remember how Orgeron covered for RB Guice raping Ashlyn Robertson, an LSU student & girlfriend of a recruit. Orgeron told the recruit, “Don’t be upset, everybody’s girlfriend sleeps with other people.” Lol. Orgeron covered for Guice in 3 other incidents, one involving another rape of another LSU student.
He also covered for Guice when the RB sexually harassed a 74-year-old grandmother in public while she worked at the Superdome.
But Orgeron ain’t the first LSU football coach to be dismissed in light of sex stuff. LSU kept Les Miles working even after officials found a student’s sexual harassment allegation credible enough that Miles was ordered to “stay away from female students, and to stop texting them and hiring them as babysitters.” Lol.
Orgeron’s buyout was a PAYOFF so he wouldn’t rat on the actual goings on within the athletic department — he knew all the shyte. LSU lawyers learned from Pruitt’s firing at Tennessee for cause. Pruitt’s lawyer threatened to spill the beans at Tennessee and “cripple UT’s athletic programs for years.”
Look, if anyone were to know about covering up player sexual harassment & other Title IX violations, it’s Orgeron.

I agree that Gantt should take a bit of a step back from the investigative process.
Gantt is the director of player personnel and has been for a very long time. He knows what he's doing. He is in a support role for all of the players. The now-debunked incident with Jamaal was on a recruiting visit when he was 16... a minor. Gantt got a call, he showed up to support the recruit. And you better believe there were attorneys present and all interviews recorded and transcribed. You think Gantt should "take a step back" from doing his job? You have spent years building up street cred on this site, in my eyes, and you just threw it out the window with this ridiculous statement.

I think at this point UGA has a PR problem and needs to keep appearances in mind.

I know it sounds convenient for UGA fans, but the AJC has no shred of objectivity or credibility in its reporting on UGA football. It very transparently is trying to generate as negative of publicity as possible to generate readership.
Some pretend UGA fan posted a Dawg Nation article and claimed it was credible a while back. That’s how I knew he was an alter. Every real UGA fan I know hates the AJC.

The rape allegations got Anderson removed from the team, he hasn't even gone to trial, he's technically innocent until proven guilty, but removed from the team anyway. Right or wrong, I'm just stating fact.
Jamaal wasn't a player when allegations were made against him. Can't suspend someone who isn't on your team. Because of instant cooperations from Jamaal and the now-debunked victim, the special victims unit of the ACCPD wrapped up their investigation quickly and dropped the case because it was clear the bitch was making up bullshite. He eventually did sign with UGA.
What else do you want Kirby and Co to do, to "save face" and "improve public relations"?
Please articulate it for me.

Never has been. Papers print what they are told to print by industry. Conversely, they do not print what they are told to not print.
It's a tale as old as our country.

Here's crownknowsbest recruiting pitch:
"If you find yourself in trouble or get accused of something, you are on your own, you will receive no support from us. Not only that, but we'll remove you from the team. Because we want the AJC to stop writing negative articles about us."

lol id rather play for a championship every 5 years or so than go 40 years without one. in 2019 were you even able to close your eyes and remember your last one or did you have to ask granpappy about the good ole days?
every morning you wake up you should be thanking florida and tennessee's athletic departments for allowing you barking homos to rise.

Isn’t LSU’s current coach 0-3 against Smart with an average loss of 20 points per game while at LSU?
