Maybe his dog Coach Davis can get him in the boat sooner than that timeline. Although it’s pretty clear we are in the drivers seat here.

The only predictions/guesses I saw were OM. He wasn’t talking to reporters because he wanted to break the news himself on his YouTube

I’d kind of write him off. I think we’re waiting on Shane Hooks at this point and that might be it

Now if you want say why are we wasting time on a recruit whose parents went to Alabama and dad played there as a walk on then go ahead.

I think with McAllister, McLeod and Faulk we’ll be OK at Edge although I’d have like to have got Ukwu for more depth. Our signing McLeod may have affected our chances there.

Hooks and possibly a DB if it's the right fit.

However I don't think there will be anyone that affects the win/loss record that's going to be available at this point.

Time to move to high school recruiting now and hopefully get a top 12 or higher class in.

Pink said we would probably offer Stephen Sings out of Liberty if Ukwu chose unwisely.

Also have the JC lineman Markell, they thought he would probably take Miss State.

Still leaves a scholly or two even after Jackson and Levant? keep theirs for another year. And it sounds like the coaches wanna use them.

Okay High school recruits, thoughts on receivers...

Burton you could probably count as a recruit this year since he will be a sophomore.
Cam Coleman dont count the chickens but looking pretty good
Perry Thompson, give it the college try but flipping a bama commit?
How about Marsh out of Michigan, he has been down, he has set up an official, odds?
Mike Matthews, college try again?
TJ Moore out of Tampa do we have a chance? His coach is a former player right?
Mario Craver, seems we are on and off with him.

Mike Matthews won't happen.

I think we'll get Thompson, Coleman, and probably find one in camps this summer.

I hope. If we could land them and Marsh. What a haul. I'm still in the wait and see mode of who is really interested of the big names and that goes for all positions.

Based on the bat wings from Josh Aldridge I’d say so.

Auburn offers NM State transfer CB Syrus Dumas and will visit Monday per JLee. He has 2 years of eligibility left.

quote:

Dumas, who previously was committed to UTSA, has two years of eligibility. He spent the past two seasons at New Mexico State where he played in 20 games total, tallying 83 tackles, including 61 solos and eight tackles for loss. He also had four interceptions and 15 pass breakups.

His best season came in 2022 when he had 44 tackles, 35 solos and two interceptions. He was named Phil Steele second-team All-Independent and College Football Network first-team All-Independent.

Dumas, who is listed at 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds, signed with New Mexico State in 2021 after spending the 2020 season at Independence Community College in Kansas.

Are we also going to see an offer for a transfer RB? Are these continued offers due to this "indefinite suspension" of some unnamed players?

No, they had always mentioned a corner, if the right person popped up. Got two seniors starting this fall, the following year you have Kayin Lee starting and some young guys. Im guessing they wanted a person with a couple of years to fill the gap and this one fits the bill.

Someone with much more knowledge of the defensive backfield can fill in here.

Regarding that other stuff, it will blow over. Men will be men. Lighten up Francis.
