I had no dog in that fight, but some of those calls were absolute bull-shite. That crew should never be allowed to call another bowl game. Keep them on the left coast where football doesn't matter.

That was a terrible call. If the refs are going to hide behind replay, they need to rethink this "just let the play "play out" and we'll review it."

I'll defend calling it a fumble live, because better to call it a fumble and fix that (bringing back a potential return, etc.) than calling it dead and the defense losing a turnover.
Definitely will NOT defend how it wasn't reversed on instant replay. It is PAINFULL obvious on replay that he was down before the ball even remotely starts to come out.
I thought our refs are bad... I guess refs just suck regardless of conference.

His elbow was down and the ground caused him to fumble seconds after his elbow was down.
If a damned ref can't see that with a replay then he is severely incompetent or was looking for a way for Kansas to get back into the game.

Better question is why the hell aren’t you kneeling on the ball with 3:00 to go up 15 with Kansas out of timeouts…. you could have wasted 80 secs of 180 secs just by kneeling the ball. There is no way Kansas could have driven 80 yards and inside and drive another 40 in that time..
