This isn't to you, you show great knowledge and support of Hogs.

However, what do so many of us think that the Razorback are?

This is a 6/6 team who deserves a bowl, but nothing great. The liberty bowl is a dump, sure... BUt dang folks, it is better than setting at home (Extra practices, development) and continues fan support with a mediocre season by keeping the game close enough to do so.

I will be there, (Good Lord Willing) ready to have some fun. Feel free to join me. WPS!

I’ll be there too Rev! Been a while since I’ve been to Memphis. Need to go get some good food.

I’d love some Central BBQ, but it ain’t worth having to play in the Liberty Bowl

I’m just saying - it’s gonna take a whole lot less effort for me to go to Memphis than it took for me to go to Tampa last year. And less $$, too

Arkansas thought the same against lowly UNLV but lost 31-14.

I like the way Wisconsin fans plan for bowls. They for decades had so many good years that they have put away money for these long trips that are warm. They plan ahead unlike Arkansas fans who haven't endured that type of consistent success.

It hard to plan for these bowls when you haven't been good in awhile and the yearly expectations are the Liberty and Birmingham bowls.

Do you think Arkansas fans don’t know our own bowl history?

Anyone who thinks there won’t be a crap ton of Hog fans in Memphis for the game is lying to themselves. Place will be overloaded like the other 5 times Arkansas has played there.

Disappointing season or not, Hog fans will show up to a party, hot or cold.

I used Birmingham as an example of a minor bowl.

So who sets their expectations on the Birmingham Bowl and why are you bringing it up on the Arkansas board?

When you go 6-6, the explanations are the Liberty and Birmingham bowls. Considering Arkansas lack of football success it is unrealistic to go to a major bowl each year.

But Arkansas has never been to the Birmingham Bowl so how is that an expectation?

Arkansas has only played in 5 Liberty Bowls in its 43 bowl appearances. So how is that even an expectation?

It’s where you end up when you have a disappointing season. Nothing more. Nothing less.

They haven't but it is on the same tier as Texas, Liberty, Las Vegas as minor bowls. Minor bowls are expected if the program isn't a consistent winner.

It is an expectation as a minor bowl, same as other minor bowls. Arkansas does not regularly go to major bowls and so it isn't expected.

All bowls are on some level of disappointment if you don't make a playoff.

DC talking outta your butt again i see...

Dude, learn the newest bowl pecking order.

And you speak of the Liberty as the same as Birmingham. It isn't, Birmingham is below the group of 6. We haven't ever played there I believe.

So, what would be better for you, Texas Bowl, Belk Bowl, Music City Bowl, Vegas... all are in the same grouping and not ranked below or ahead of one another.

If all bowl are on some level of disappointment if you don't make a playoff bowl... Damn man, you have been one disappointed dude for many years now.

It will be the best attended in many years because of cost and location to fans.

Yep, it will be a party of Hog fans. Don't understand folks not wanting to be a part of it. WPS!

The only pecking order needed to be learned is unless a certain school is headed to a new year six bowl then the rest of the bowls below it are the same.

So what if the Birmingham isn't the same as the Liberty? Both are undesirable locations for teams with disappointing years.

Bowls that are warm and would be good for vacations not bowls where you get mugged and lose to a team you haven't heard of before.

I don't give a shite anymore. Why expect less when you can do better? If you expect less then you won't get better.

I gave up on football being a winner because they just haven't put in the effort to being good. It just makes it easier to support baseball and basketball because they expect better. You expect better then you will be better.

They should just do everything under the national championship as a home game for the top seeded team. Make it a 75/25 split on tickets. Going to home team.

Quit paying to rent shitty stadiums. Spend the week to 2 weeks putting your emblems all over the home stadium and pay what you would have to rent a stadium to the players.
