AU admin received a complaint and there were many red flags that could not be ignored.

From Derek Mason who deserved to get let go, and a bunch of soft arse former Gus players that were hitting the portal. The minute the admin didn’t say they had his back quit bithcing, but instead made it public that they were investigating him and giving not context, that’s when the rumors flew about the intern. Even then the University would not connfirm nor deny that they were looking at anything related to her. Basically letting Harsin and his family twist in the wind.

I get all that, but where did you get this information from? Is there a link to a story or some corroborating source, or is this more message board scuttlebutt? More than once I have seen people try to reason stuff out on this message board and all of a sudden that becomes repeated by everybody as a fact. Later the truth comes out and it isn't anywhere close to what was repeated as the facts. (Arik Gilbert is one example. and we could both probably come up with others)

Mostly message board stuff but there is also intel from mods and other beat writers. Auburn fans have been discussing these things for a while now - many things don't make it to the rant. It's way more complex. AU fans probably only know 10% of the story and other SEC fans maybe 1% or so...

He's already getting paid millions of dollars to be let go, and he is still in prime coaching age, so he'll be getting a multi-million dollar contract soon. Doubtful that he'd bother with any of that.

OM fans filling up the entire front page replying to each other about how bad the AU job must be...

This fear level is unreal.

I asked before but no one answered me. What were the results of the investigation? Were there any results? What in the frick were yall even doing?
The AU response. I would copy and paste but it is rather lengthy.

Tennessee is probably the only program that rivals Auburn for meddling, toxic boosters. Chris Lowe once commented that Knoxville can make the Plains look good when they are feuding. That’s how we ended up with Pruitt and Fulmer as the AD. Even Peyton was up to his knees in the crap.

Fortunately for us everyone seems to be on the same page at the moment.

I’ll never forget watching Jay Jacobs on the day Auburn hired Chizik, get off the aircraft, walking on the tarmac and hearing several boosters yelling at him telling him he sucked and that they wanted a real coach. That is a great start.

Haha that was one fan. And he was yelling at our AD, not Chizik. This is how rumors start. LINK

He was 5-19 at Iowa St and you are blaming the fans for complaining.

Knowledgeable insiders have said it wasn’t boosters who did that. I think it was somebody inside the AD that did it. Auburn Undercover has a podcast out now that explains just how bad his recruiting was. He did himself in.
