They leave, they do not get paid in full.

Blueblood schools will pay them to come, not that hard.

Maybe the NFL needs to open up a minor league system like baseball has and allow colleges and universities to return to fielding teams of student-athletes rather than semi-pro players.

Why would the NFL pay for a minor league when college football is serving that purpose just fine?

It will never happen, too much money would be lost on both sides with little to no benefit for them.

I don't disagree with you one bit there. You're 100% correct. I'd like to see NFL teams who draft a college player that still has eligibility left have to reimburse the university the cost of the remaining unused portion of the scholarship though to help cover the costs of recruitment to fill the role of the player who departed early.

Y’all give 18 year olds with six figures in their bank accounts too much credit.

All I’d care about is seeing the field so I can get tape for NFL scouts and continuing the bank roll.

W&Ls wouldn’t matter

Jimbo was fortunate to have a QB of the caliber of Crablegs to win a natty.

But before crab legs he was able to make Ej Manuel and Christian Ponder into first round picks. Not to mention he had Florida state routinely beating the shite out of Clemson and Florida.

I’m not trying to say that jimbo is the next saban, but the blame isn’t all on jimbo. You can take a F1 driver and put him on a bike in a race against a teen driving a Prius. The f1 driver is obviously better than the teen driver, but the f1 driver is going to lose every time because of the vehicle he’s driving. A&M is a bike trying to race against Porsche and Ferrari. They’re a very expensive bike, but will always be a bike.

NIL deal may be the end of your NFL dream which is the real money! If they continue to lose they stay off tv which hurts draft round!

I read the post 2 or 3 times and don’t see where he’s giving “financial advice.”

A$M signed a class full of 5 Star mercenaries with no love or connection to the school. They don’t give a shot who the coach is. They don’t give a shite about your traditions, yells or chants. They don’t give a shite what your record is or that you haven’t won shite since 1939.

A$M paid for kids they failed to vet or build a relationship.

A$M got what they deserved.

Let’s not forget Colorado libby, you Aggies paid your all everything class in Bitcoin! Then Bitcoin went down and you aggies had to pay em again.

No one needs financial advice from an aggie.

Let's get real. Hardly anyone who plays football in college these days has any "love or connection" to the school. They are where they are because they think it is the best place they can go to get to the league. The funny part about it is that A&M has even screwed that up by making "cashing in" even more important than that.
