Mostly pitching from what I’ve seen. This team struggles to throw strikes. But I haven’t watched nearly as much as others on here.

It’s pitching mostly. We get behind in the count to much.
And we have been bad bad with RISP all year especially with 2 outs it seems. I don’t know the official stats but just watching seems have been extremely poor in that area.

Last night was tough, I didn’t make it to the 12th.
For the most part, pitching has been the glaring problem. There have been too many games when scoring 5-8 runs should be enough to get the win but that hasn’t been the case. The starters just haven’t been sharp enough and that seems to put too much pressure on the bullpen.
Statistically they aren’t as bad as their record is but the poor starting pitching and timely hits have been a problem.
The schedule hasn’t helped either. It’s been brutal but that’s life in the sec. Butch has his work cut out for him this season, just hope the team doesn’t crash mentally.

Thank goodness we’re about to get out of this stretch, been brutal. Arky and A&M are just incredible IMO.

I think the biggest issue is a lack of SEC caliber starting pitching. I've watched a lot of the games and what everyone is saying in this thread is true. Hitting could be more clutch, but starting pitching has to be much better. Bullpen gets over worked, but it hasn't been very good either.
We need better pitching.
1-8 through 9 SEC games. We're going to need to go 12-9 at worst here on out to have any chance at postseason. SEC is brutal.

Tigers with some great AB’s in the 8th. Dinger by Peirce. And believe it or not some awesome clutch hitting by Weiss, Irish and mcMurray has the boys up by 5. 9-4 good guys. Middle of 8.
Make that 10-4. Peirce gets another rbi this inning.

Not sure getting to .500 is possible with this pitching staff. Seriously, how is our pitching this bad? Whatever we are doing there...we need to evaluate it.
