Doesn't bother me. I hate watching games on CBS. They have more commercials it seems to me. I agree that the games look better but thats it. As long I can watch I'm happy. I wish I could watch the game without announcers. Just hear the crowd and PA

If you want to get into it, I choose the best candidate for the job & NOT solely along party lines.

I hope he stays on but if not, I'm sure CBS will find a suitable replacement.

I thought he did talk a lot about Alabama but they are always good-great so I understood. If he does stay on then he will have to practice not talking about Alabama lol.

But of course your best candidates for the job fall in the same party. Just a coincidence.

People always say this but ESPN takes up 1/8 of the screen with some neon yellow ad for the entire game. I cannot stand having the game screen size reduced so ESPN can promote their next UFC fight.

Can’t ESPN have 2:30 sec games?

I’m gonna miss the CBS college football theme before a good SEC game. Will always remind me of Black Friday games against LSU eating thanksgiving leftovers by a fire next to people I love at deer camp in the beautiful fall weather.

SEC screwed up royally. CBS’s production is 10 times better than ESPN. Dumb decision not to renew with CBS.

Can you imagine anyone wanting to watch two big10 teams at 3:30 on CBS?

No. Especially if ABC counterprograms with games like Alabama-Oklahoma, LSU-Georgia, A&M-Texas, etc., etc.

CBS made the decision not to renew the SEC agreement and walked out of the negotiations.

You seriously Clark?

Outside of Ohio State playing Michigan, USC or Penn State...what other games would anyone want to watch who are not fans of that conference wish to watch compared to the number of matchups the SEC provides?

About bama for the whole game.

Personally I rarely watch big x or pac 10 football for the same reason I dont watch div II football. That won't change.

this just means that the 2024 version of the SEC costs more than CBS is willing to pay for an afternoon game.
The SEC will be, even by more than it is now, the premier football conference and those matchups will command the best times with the widest audience.

You mean I will only have to spend three hours to watch a Bama game instead of four and a half?
