Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe FOX still has first choice for its 12:00 ET Big Ten game.

Yeah but once USC and UCLA join that second game will be just as enticing and a night game can get you the la market in primetime

Yeah I think it's gonna be like the 3rd
or 4th pick on the schedule.

This really sucks. My whole entire lifetime of memories of CFB revolve primarily around the SEC being on CBS. Gonna be real weird not having that anymore.

Still got another two years with the SEC on CBS. The deal runs through 2024.

The SEC games will be solely on those Disney Networks. That Networks liberal beliefs contradict everything that the SEC area citizens believe in. How soon before that Disney theme bleeds over to the coverage? CBS was the less of two evils.

Gary Danielson & Brad Nessler will finally get to call Purdue v Minnesota football games CBS.

meanwhile the SEC on ABC gets to reunite with our former ambassadors from CBS - Sean McDonough & Todd Blackledge.

That is an insane amount for CBS to pay.

The SEC signed on with Disney in December 2020. SEC Reaches $3 Billion Deal With Disney, Drawing CBS Ties Toward an End.

ESPN will pay the SEC around $300 million annually for the rights, according to two people with knowledge of the agreement who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not permitted to speak publicly. That is nearly a sixfold increase from the $55 million annually CBS currently pays.LINK

Wait which is the network that's not liberal again?

I like both crews but I'll take Nessler
over McDonough all day.

BTW Nessler lives in metro Atlanta and
knows the conference inside and out.McDonough is a east coast baseball guy.

Can you imagine anyone wanting to watch two big10 teams at 3:30 on CBS?

People make fun of that(me included) but from a national perspective, all three time slots are valuable and Fox having the early one, CBS having the middle one, and ABC/ESPN having the late one really works out.

I’d even argue that as much as I hate when Aggy has the CBS slot(which is all the time since we are so awesome and valuable) it’s the best for the conference and national awareness. It screws with my ideal schedule the most, but when there is another big nationally relevant game then and the Aggy game after, that’s ideal. Which is why even the Fox slot works. Watching tu choke against OU early, and then watching Ole/Miss, then watching Jimbo and the crew butt frick and embarrass Saban with a backup QB was the best Saturday last fall.

Heard a good point on the radio. This is gonna be a great deal for the BIG10 in football but virtually take away any national exposure for basketball for them.

Every game on ESPN or ABC feels the the same and they never feel like big games. It doesn't matter if it's the MAC Wednesday Night Game of the Week or the National Championship Game. It just feels like another annoying and shitty game on ESPN.

I'll have to disagree with you here. A lot of my best SEC on CBS memories were with Sean McDonough back in the 90s. He was money.

He's the best in the business imo, he just gets blackballed because he looks like such a little weenie.

B1G is outmaneuvering us at every turn. I’m afraid the SEC decline has started

Rank them based on their liberal views. We will see how liberal you are.

SECs current contract with CBS is for $55 million / year. CBS pulled out of Negotiations with the SEC supposedly because it was too expensive for the.
